I am very confused at this point. I am reading different things on the web and hearing different things ingame.
What exactly will happen to mount + riding skill costs, can anyone clarify?

From what I understood :
-You get the mount skill equivalent to the highest speed mount you got in your bags. If you have a 60% speed mount, you’ll get the 60% riding skill, if you have a 100% speed mount, you’ll get the 100% riding skill, whichever is the highest.
-Currently, you buy the mount skill once per race for 20g, 60% mounts cost 80g, 100% mounts cost 1000g. At TBC, costs are reversed. The skill becomes expensive and mounts become cheap (I don’t remember the costs exactly but I know that you save money if you wait for TBC to learn riding skills).

The only “advantage” you can get in Classic is being able to get others races mount
