Also, whenever im in BB, easily 25% of all horde there are shamans. Tends to be a good indication that a class is overpowered when its so popular.
They nerfed boomkin, though I have never killed anyone from 100% to 0 in one global, even when starsurge was at its strongest. How is this shaman thing ok?

Retribution Paladins definitely need a nerf. It is not all right for a class to tank, heal and DPS and perform well in everything.
Oh, wait, Shamans can too, but the yare a Horde class, Blizz will pretend it is not a problem.
In this particular situation I was on my mount. The shaman attacked a priest, so I figured I could just run past as he would be engaged in a fight already. I was going for the nourish rune, and if you die you have to go back to moonglade and pick up item again, so I wasn’t looking to pvp.
But the shaman globaled the priest, then turned around and globaled me. I don’t mind that I died and have to start over. Thats life on a pvp server.
Im just questioning the reasoning behind nerfing boomkins and spriests, then letting this class run around globaling people one after the other. Unless Im mistaken, shamans even got buffed last hotfix.

Sounds to me like you should have attacked from a safe distance instead of getting close to him. And yes shamans got a buff recently after being bottom dps since release.
It’s called class favouritism. Some classes are acceptable OP and other aren’t. Seems to be the theme of SOD since P1.

You are to talk about favoritism, now that is rich! You got a long overdue Starsurge nerf and the devs were besides themselves to blow air to soothe the new boo boo with compensation.
While Shamans were at best meh for the whole of P1 all specs/roles except as a tank.
Is Lava Burst hitting hard? Yes, yes it is. Are there ways to stop it from going off altogether or removing the crit part? Yes again.
The class has no hard CC, if you are getting hit by Lava Burst on the regular… you are just letting people know you are doing it wrong.
They were literally bottom dps and healers. Tank was good though. But we knew this would happen, if shaman ever got past middle of the pack people would instantly cry for nerfs. Enjoy it while it lasts lads, we’ll be back at the bottom soon.
What I think shamans need is the same thing ret has that gives spellpower for a percent of your attack power so we can scale with gear better.
Even if shaman gets nerfed to below frostmage tier dmg wise it’ll still murder people and they’ll still cry for nerfs. Thats just how shaman works

Nah, Shamans should be able to heal as much as a healer, do as much as a dps and tank even better than all the tanks combined in PvP.
