Everyone else and their mum (literally) seem to be getting at least cameos in Shadowlands and yet nothing for the Lion of Azeroth? 
Alliance hasn’t exactly been getting their pats on the back as shadowlands, just like in real life, is populated about %80 horde so horde devs aren’t exactly going to spend their precious time making and rendering an alliance character that only caters to like %20 of people which is even probably lower considering like seriously who is left in the game or alliance in particular that remembers lothar at this point? I’d like to see him that is for sure but lately these expansions are just feeling like milking machines and I don’t think actual and meaningful content matters anymore.
Could ask the same question of where is Varian? Marcus Jonathan? It seems Human Warriors appear to go to a part of the Shadowlands that nobody ever visits.
I do think we will see Varian in someway before the end though that will result in Anduin being freed from the Jailers grip.
Not just humans. Anyone seen Broxigar? I think that he might be slightly annoyed with his little brother’s fate.
I haven’t seen dead gnomes, pandas and goblins too.
