So why does a bfa wq give 75 rep

While a Legion one has always given 250? Why was the reputation given reduced by more than 3 times?

It takes more than 3 times the amount of work to get exalted with a faction. Who’s the genius at blizzard who thought this would make players play more instead of just get burned out and quit?

Time gating.

Only really bothered with this when I was working for exalted on 8.0.

8.2 reps take three weeks to exalted. Seems about right.

This in a nutshell.

No idea, but it backfired. They need to change it back.

If they changed it back, they’d probably lower the amount of gold we get from paragon bags.

I get that they wanted to make exalted be worth more … but the emissaries already gave more rep than they should

Now they didnt touch that but instead the normal gain? Why would you do a wq for rep when waiting for emissary covers 20 world quests in rep?

It really does piss people off. This seem to be a thing with this game.
There must be a special team who’s sole purpose is to check everything in the game to see if it is frustrating enough to go live.
There is to much to say about that and its kinda off topic.
The 200 war supplies for emissary daily 4 quest was the idea of the same person, no doubt. I dont know anyone who even does them these days when 200 resources day is up. Apart from people who dont realise about the 650/500 bind on account thing.

Legion World Quests gave 75 as well, until … I think it was 7.3.5, but might have been 7.3

Most pointless reward, ever. If you’ve played more than a month you probably already have more than 40k war resources and nothing worth while to spend them on.
