So why don't we have matchmaking for mythic yet?

I don’t come here often so i don’t know your opinions. Why do we have to use the old system of no matchmaking? The only thing it does is make the process longer. Some of you may think stuff like mythic should be done with guilds over discord ONLY but why? Yes, if you use matchmaking for higher keys the chances of failure are higher, sure. Why (for those that are against it) do you care? It doesn’t impact you in any way. Share your opinions.

Why do you want this tho?

Feels like you are just trying to avoid talking or being judged by other people.

Assuming you’re talking about m+ keys only, I’m fine with m0 being turned into solo que matchmaking like normal and hc, but mythic+2+? Absolutely not!

Why would anyone in their right mind offer up their keystone to 4 random people they have no idea about ilvl, skill, rio? No one would be so willing so it would be a pointless exercise for blizzard to do so.
How would they stop low ilvl people from joining a 10-15 key too? it’s easy to say just put an ilvl req in place like hc has, but when there’s so many levels it’s impossible.

Like i said, it just takes longer and i don’t understand why it has to be a thing. With matchmaking i belive more people will get into (more) mythic dungeons and if anything, the higher chance of failure will incentivise them to join guilds. If anything, some people just want to do more difficult content and get better gear without commiting to a guild. I belive it should be an option. And no, i don’t have problems talking to people or have a fear of being judged.

For me it’s the second one i like talking I’m a social person but i can’t take criticism xD.

I have not been in a guild since nighthold and i’ve done plenty of +12-13

So that is a dumb argument.

People are already doing that. You are giving a perfect example. Why would they? They woudn’t? Thats fine, isn’t it?

The best part about mythic matchmaking is you dont have to use it. At all. It does literally nothing to people who don’t want to use it. They would stop them the same way they stop low ilvl people from joining HC dungeons as soon as they hit 60, with ilvl reqs within certain ranges. I’ve had many NORMAL dungeons where the tank was 200-220 and still failed miserably.

Bottom line is, don’t use it, but don’t stop people from using it.

Couldn’t you also argue that the current system incentives’ people to join guilds? Which makes this argument pointless.

I can’t either, I still will never ever again join a raiding guild unless they make the raids significtly easier, as i learn very slow and got very harrassed in the guild i raided with in WoD/legion. Never again do i wanna be in that position.

and M+ is easy af, so no problems there.

Tho i doubt i’ll try the new “Mega dungeon” with “Hard modes”

Standard Mythic: yes
M+: no.

The whole point was to give an opinion on why you don’t want it.

i wouldnt mind a queue for m0 but i d be against it for m+. what if your group is melee/ranged only? what if there are not enough interrupts? what if you dont have lust? etc.

sure it maybe takes longer to create a group but in return you have so much more control over who/what you take into your group its worth the extra time in my opinion.

i can imagine the leaver problem will only flourish in such an environment if they see they dont have a certain feature or have certain classes/specs in their groups.

pugging always had its downsides and rightfully so imo.

Hardly. Everyone i’ve grouped up with agreed that mythic would be alot better if it had matchmaking.

doing what? My point is people wouldn’t offer up their key to 4 randoms knowing literally nothing about what spec they play, what ilvl they have, what their skill/rio score is. What you’re suggesting to me is that people do that anyway? No they don’t. The LFG system tells the leader all that information and gives them the chance to take who they want.
The last thing I would want to do is offer up my 15 key to 4 random people, and get 3 sub rogues, a prot war and mw monk who have never stepped foot inside a m+ before but got in because of ilvl. I may as well just leave now. Instead of doing this though I could boot up the current LFG system, and cherry pick who I want based on spec and rio score.

All classes have interrupts tho. Things like lust and timewarp have been a cookie cutter elitist thing that is just that. Unnecessary. By the time you get enough of and you would have completed atleast 1 run. Adding matchmaking with fillin in will also fix the fact that 1 person can screw up 4 others by just leaving for whatever reason.

I can’t imagine you’ve grouped with many people or done many m+ then. The fact you’re posting on a random level 17 alt with 0 posts tells me everything I need to know honestly.

They are literally already offering their keys to 4 random people based on ilvl and maybe stats.

Again my main argument is it does nothing to you personally. You can still do what you do and completly ignore the matchmaking? I fail to see your argument.

What if you get 3 shadow priests all with 45 second cd interupts?

Lust unnecessary? Are you bonkers? sure in a m+2 it probably is, but higher keys it is absolutely essential!

you failed to mention RIO score as well, the biggest thing leaders look for, it shows that X pug has knowledge and experience in the dungeon and at Y level also.

Lust is just some haste. Can get some of that haste with drums too. I have 2 chested +16 without lust… Overrated.

Ontopic; i dont care. To me it does not makes sense and i am also not going to use it. But go ahead :+1:
