So why exactly does queuing for old LFR require a group of certain size now?

I thought the point of queuing for old content was, yknow, to follow it. Not find 25 people to be able to run old content.

All old LFR’s should let you queue in as 1-25 people and put only your group inside. Which one are you trying to queue for specifically?

We tried the Legion ones earlier and it would keep telling us that our group did not have enough people.

If im not mistaken Legion doesn’t count yet as Legacy content, because it’s not 11+ levels difference from max level.

Therefore you can’t queue alone for LFR like for older LFRs, nor do you get any legacy buff damage.

They added a legacy NPC specifically for it in Dalaran for people at 120, so don’t tell me it’s intended that you need 25 people for it as if you were queuing it at 110.

Im telling you all that i know regarding to Legacy content. Just because they added an NPC to let you queue there, it doesn’t mean you can solo it just yet. (Well in some cases you definitely can but yeah). I believe their intention of adding that NPC was to give you the option to queue for these old LFRs since they are no longer available to your LFR list since you are max level now.

Personally, i believe they should let you queue on your own no matter what, if you have extra people with you, sure why not. But definitely let you queue on your own, if you can’t solo something… i guess that’s your problem :stuck_out_tongue: , but at least they should let you have that option, to queue alone.

This is my understanding too. Hmmm, I wonder why they are stopping us smashing through this content at our own pace.

These obscure walls are just unecessary.
A X-size group to enter Y content shouldn’t be there artificially,
nor should there be a legacy-level of 11-above to count.

These two things just removes content for people, as the 11-counter removes a carrot equally as X-size removes the solo-activity many of us used to enjoy, the challenge of doing something that recently
(or even currently is! Solo’ing current content is also quite a fun activity for some of us.)
