Shouldn’t they be able to learn Dive (maybe they can later since we don’t have access to it now) and scorpid sting? I mean… Their tail is a scorpion tail…
Also, does anyone know what its stats are in comparison to other pets?
It is categorised as a Wind Serpent and have they stats.
Blizzard needs to either make a new family for them or put them in scorpids. Wyverns right now are considered wind serpents so they’re just a reskin.
If put in scorpids, they also need to learn dive. On another note, we should be able to tame ANY wyvern with the rod and not just the young pridewings.
As for the stats, they have 1 extra bottom damage but 1 less top end damage. Basically, the average DPS is the same as a normal non-caster WS.
I hope Blizzard does a better job when it comes to hunter pets and implementing new beast types/families because the way wyverns were introduced has been lacking imho. Chimeras and thunder lizards would’ve been a way better and logical addition to wind serpents if they didn’t wanna/cannot make a new family for them. All wyverns use poison, none of them use lightning.

Yup. Different model and everything else same, even in stable it has wind serpent icon

News pet for hunter, and feral druids need other shapeshift, especially on the horde side to get rid of their sick lion with an extra chromosome.

Its even named wind serpent once you tame one.
Hunters should be able to tame feral druid players if they can channel for 20 seconds.
Still not fixed…
That’s funny, horde feral cats should get extra damage compared to alliance cats, having two big horns should count for something!(jk)
