Soar is bugged with "Steady Flight"

A problem that has arisen with Dracthyr/Evoker, is that “Soar” doesn’t seem to be polished to compensate for the flying ability “Steady Flight”

After activating Soar with Steady Flight highlighted, you sometimes need to Jump to trigger Steady Flight
-If you jump too soon, sometimes racial “Glide” kicks in
-If you jump too late, sometimes racial “Glide” kicks in
-If nothing at all, it sometimes just brings you to the floor
It’s very inconsistent, worse with any form of lag.

It goes further than that, if your Soar bugged in this matter, you land back on the floor BUT it’ll still act as if you are using the ability, making you disengage it before attempting to Soar again.

Edit: Looking further into it, if you click on “Soar” with “Steady Flight” enabled, you have a random chance for a buff called “Soar” with 420% flight power to appear.

If it doesn’t proc, you’re fresh out of luck and you land. It feels to be 50/50 chance it activates, probably because it’s fighting to ID another buff of equal name, “Soar” with skyriding for 830% flight power.

It seems like TWW has created errors with spells that share equal names, but go with different IDs, and the Interface still has errors on what to pick.

Update 8/1/2024:

Ever since the update to fix a lot of the errors in the game kicked in, a lot of the Soar problems have been fixed, however, Soar can still bug much like before, but now instead of 50/50, it feels like the bug is 5% of the time.

[Edit]: The bug seems to occur 100% of the time whenever the Evoker attempts to fly on a steep slope at certain angles, more than likely because it has a hard time understanding what solid floor is on the take-off, or because the take-off is nudged off course due to the animation causing a bump on the slope.

I completely lost the skyriding skill. The button ppl are referring to does not exists, im stuck in standard riding which is about a 17 years old system. I demand answers soon for this issue because in a few days my subscription is expiring and im not sure if i want to keep playing a game that is bugged to the core

Update 8/19

Honestly I deviated from this because I was hoping the problem would gradually fix itself.
Instead, it has deteriorated almost as bad as when it first started, it’s more of a 4 times out of 10 that your regular flight will bug.

Mostly, just stick to regular Skyriding with Soar
Which is a shame because just floating regularly above ground actually feels pretty awesome.
and I’m the type of person, you can tell with how I write, that when companies focus on fun, I rave about it to friends
“Say what you want about Blizzard, but when it comes to fixes for casual things, they’re on top of it” IS what I would like to say.

But even just getting Soar to act like Dragonflying, took 2 years.
And that’s what I end up telling others.

I have noticed that my Skyriding Soar allows Dracthyr to fly at speeds of up to 830%

And I never get normal flight on my Evoker, kind of irritating
