heya in season of discovery the fishing contest seems bugged. the npc calls out a winner every 15-20 mins even now at 15:40 a winner is anounced. also at some moments the npc and the npc to turn in the fish for silver completely disapeards for mins and then reapears and then he announces a winner i think each time he reapears he is reset and that is why there is a new winner each time people are exploiting it it seems
PS even now at 16:14 the npc calls out a winner 14 mins after the event has ended…
Bugs are reported ingame, not on the forums.

to explain all i did above it wont fit all in it and then it takes months before its read. this is gamebreaking and requires priority
Just say he’s bugged and keeps disappearing and announcing winners wrongly.
How hard is that?
he is not announcing it wrongly he is in fact announcing a new winner every 10-15 mins while its supposed to be only 1 per event people are intentionaly exploiting it. requires more than a simple ingame report that gets placed on the bottom of the stack of bug reports they need to read. i take my chances here. these exploiters need to be dealt with asap

Vanilla was not designed for layers. I think every layer has own winners 1/2/3 so fishing contest is not as hard to win as before.
no i have been on the same layer the whole full 3 hours of event cuz i was fishing for the green fish aswell. the first 2 hours when those schools were active he announced a winner every 10-15 mins and then even the hour after schools despawned and the extra hour to turn in those fish to the follow up npc he still announced a winner every 10-15 min and this was all on 1 layer. so i cant imagine how it is on all layers active at the time
Aren’t NPC announcement across all layers?
