Title. You’re currently unable to use the Soft Foam Sword toy to bring low level enemies to lower health, which makes us unable to complete certain legacy content. There has been reports by other people about this on Wowhead so it’s more certainly an issue on Blizzard’s end. I’ve reported it in-game but I’m also opening this topic to hopefully get the attention of the developers and have it fixed as quickly as possible.
activate chromie time and do it that way in the mean time.
Would that work for, lets say the Molten Front dailies in Hyjal as a level 50 character?
I don’t know, I’ve haven’t tried it, feel free to do it yourself and report back.
Still not fixed. It was working literally the day before prepatch (I’m farming animals for my garrison barn to make cloth and keep all my alts fully bagged), but now I have to take almost all my gear in order not to one-shot elite wargs in alt-nagrand

We have a support article about this here https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/000264265 but if you feel it’s not working as intended then the best thing to do is bug report it so the devs can look into it
Two words, Chromie time.
The problem is that with the new level system, 20 levels is a lot. It was good when the old system was there, but now there is a huge gap between lvl 38+ where you one-shot kill the enemies in the classic areas and lvl 50 when you can use the sword. That devalues it quite significantly.

Irinagrey has surely given us the correct answer. Now:
- The game designers should have thought of this: they didn’t ask for it to be level squashed when everything else was.
- The devs should have noticed the problem anyway and raised a change request.
- Clearly the sword should go into your automated testing suites so this doesn’t happen again.
