Legacy damage causes that damage feedback to do a looooot of damage… you ain’t alone, SW:Death one shotted me too when I was doing that Stress Daily. 
how is that possible? it did 250k per tick

The self damage seems to always hit for 50% of the damage it does. Meaning if it crits, you’ll also take double damage. That means if you hit something that has legacy scaling, you’ll also take legacy amounts of damage from it.
At least that’s my best guess.
