Hi.
I got the legendary Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy in season 2. I was stupid enough to sell/destroy it in season 3, as there was no way to upgrade it.
Then I find out that in season 4 you can upgrade it, so I try item restoration.
I then find out that the legendary has been purged from item restore, as it has been too long since I sold/deleted it.
I then create a ticket to ask if there is anything I can do.
Answer is that there is nothing I can do. I can’t even get the quest item for it again, as I have completed the quest before.
I just wanted to create this post, to warn others that might be as stupid as me (not many I hope…)
And it was on my Evoker Flaark on Silvermoon if anyone was curious…
Ask them to escalate the ticket to someone who isn’t terrible at their job (probably in slightly more accommodating words).

I was under the impression you cant destroy or sell Legendary items?
Many people have said this. But I did it, so don’t know what to say 
I have written to them multiple times. Last message was that they have to follow guidelines and no exceptions can be made.
They said I could write a post here, to maybe start a discussion about it.
According to WoWHead it is marked as “Cannot be destroyed”.
So maybe worth replying to the ticket to point this out to them as if that’s the case then it’s a bug.
Might also be worth reporting it as a bug as your probally not the only one that’s managed it. As it upgradable in S4 then if they get enough reports maybe they will see a problem and add a way to get it back from an NPC or something.

The general rule of thumb is if you can get a duplicate of the legendary then it can be destroyed.
Ok to be honest a wow player who throws away a Legy in times where bags where 30 + . 
come on . they should give it back to you but not
upgradeable.
If you really want the item, why not create a new main Evoker and re-do the quest? You may not get it in time of S4 but you’ll get it sooner than it would take for Blizzard to fix it, if it is a bug.

have you tried the official item restoration service? If it happened recently you might be able to recover it that way

Shame you can’t get the help you could from GM’s in the past, there was a time you were allowed at least one request and the GM’s were always extremely helpful in retrieving things for you.

what did you have in your character’s bank and bank’s bags that was more important than a legendary item memorabilia?
Like… I still keep all my legion legendaries in characters’ banks or void storage

Things you can say to a WoW player but would be a terrible thing to say to parents if you’re a doctor.
They lied to you. They just dont want to give it to you. Years ago I deleted my BS profession that had the plans for sulfuron hammer which was a quest drop. One day I decided to take up BS again and realised I can’t pick up the quest for the hammer. I put in a ticket and the gm gave me the plans or the quest, I dont remember now, but that was waaaay after TBC. Its just a sign of how lazy Blizz have become.
