So basically this can be short and sweet: When will BFA raids finally receive some sort of legacy treatment or fixes so we can start soloing it?
It’s beyond ridicoulus that this is taking so long. I’ve read multiple times that the rule of thumb is 2 expansions ago. Well… spoiler alert: BFA is 2 expansions ago, yet we still can’t go into BFA raids to farm transmogs and mounts.
It’s not necessarily a power issue at the moment because we severely outgear the BFA content. But bosses that simply need 2 players to complete it are an issue. Or bosses that pretty much instantly mindcontrol you are the issue.
For example the last boss in Tazavesh getting a 99% damage reduction buff because the proper tactic to get rid of it cannot be performed by a single player I can somewhat live with.
Yes, it’s incredibly tedious to kill a boss with a 99% damage reduction buff, but still doable and just timeconsuming. I’ve done worse and more boring things for mounts. And it’s Shadowlands content. So I can somewhat understand they haven’t come around to fixing that stuff yet.
But the fact that BFA raids still haven’t been fixed is a joke at this point.
I know there might be people who will say that you could simply create a raidgroup to go and clear them, but that isn’t the point.
Yes… I am aware this is a multiplayer game and I am not opposed to playing with other people at all. I know it’s a necessity in some cases. But not when it comes to content from 2 expansions ago. I don’t want to create a raidgroup and be forced to play with other people for old content, especially not content I’ve cleared in raidgroups multiple times when it was current. I want to go in there on my own while listening to some music/watching some youtube and farm the transmog sets and mounts.
In my particular case it’s extra annoying because I’ve got every other mount that drops from old raids. There’s nothing left for me to farm, except BFA and Shadowlands raids. And where I can understand Shadowlands isn’t too long ago yet, BFA for sure is. I want to be able to farm some mounts again.
I read on MMO champion that something was mentioned about Blizzard fixing this in 10.1.5 (not sure how accurate this piece of information is) but if it is… well… a bit late already, don’t you think?!
Bruh - befriend someone who is the opposite of your armor/weapon type and duo the raids if you can’t solo them.
Frankly some unsoloable bosses are soloable with tricks - read reddit or so - I managed to solo some “unsoloable” bosses in LFR bfa when I farmed TW gear.
PS: I hate the streamlining of old content - it shouldn’t be super hard but some level of trickiness or some cooperation required here and there should stay - not everything has to be a one-shot tourist soloable mode!!!
Try soloing Mythic N’Zoth/Jaina and we’ll talk again.
Right now only Arcane Mages can Solo both of them with an insane amount of Luck on their Radiant Spark Explosion, which is rediculus giving Blizzard’s statement about “Content is Legacy after 2 Expansions” when BFA clearly is not.
Both Bosses would easily be soloable with Legacy Buff, but guess what, it’s not active yet and im almost 100% sure we wont see it in TWW.

I wouldnt hold your breath. BFA is completely borked when it comes to scaling.
I was in the zones yesterday and they are still set to 60 instead of 50!
Yeah it’s one of the reasons I’ve not touched them. I play only in tank spec, so trying to do the dmg to get those bosses down before a group mechanic is triggered, is just a no-go.
But indeed finding some of a different armour type does work. But with the introduction of getting all those transmogs of different armour types, with the warband feature, I feel more people will be warning to solo grind those.
So I also hope they do revisit the older content to adjust it.
i hope they add this soon. farming old raids is prob my favorite pass time in wow, just open a stream & enjoy the sights in the hopes of getting something cool.
currently ive ran out of all the cool stuff to farm so ive started farming death’s advance rep just so i could get the pants that come with the Frontline Necromancer’s Vestments.
i mean look at these pants, they go with pretty much anything & they’re for ALL armor types.
Soloing old content is my favorite passtime too. Unfortunately for me I’ve collected every mount/pet/toy/transmog there’s to collect from raids before BFA. Those are left for me to do. Oh well, I guess another what… 2 years of waiting for it?
