Solo capabilities of demonhunters at 120?

Greetings.

I’ve dinged 120 on this character yesterday (294 ilvl at the time of typing this) and I was wondering how many expansions is it possible to solo as a demon hunter? Is the limit WoD content and lower or is it possbile to solo Legion content as well?

Ever since the level scaling it seems difficult to estimate and I would prefer to know the limit without finding out the hard way :sweat_smile:

I think you should be mostly fine for soloing any content to WoD (included). Some of it can be harder due to mechanics and the fact that you are fresh 120. In Legion, you will probably have trouble with soloing untill you gear up. And even then for example mythic raids won’t be ez.

Everything up to WoD should be soloable.

In Legion, dungeons are no problem, but raids anything beyond normal isn’t doable and you take ages if you go solo for normal as well.

Just hit up the grp finder and get some people, there are often grps running this content. Some mythic legion raids need a full grp bc some boss mechanice are one shot if you don’t execute them, so you need to power through :smiley:

Thanks guys :smiley: This kind of intel is always good to know. I actually tried to solo Cathedral of eternal night on normal for a WQ, but unfortunately I got stuck on Mephistroth. Faze 2 with the Aegis is tricky xD Survivability seems alright tho even in Havoc spec.

I have solod mythic and heroic first boss emerald nightmare and I have solod all of nighthold on heroic, please note my gear wasn’t as good as it is now 405 ilvl maybe when I did it but I’d guess you’d still need decent gear to do either.

I solo last two bosses on Nighthold on NM/HC each week and it is face roll, Legion dungeons are very easy. Heck you can even solo (some) normal BoD dungeon bosses (killed Rezan 4 times for tricks of the trade materials).

DH are in a pretty good state to solo stuff.

I’ve solo’d a few Mythic bosses in Nighthold. Can clear Normal/Heroic raids from Legion usually.

And this was during S1, now I’m 25-30 ilvls higher, so I could probably do even more.
