Title, Hp bag that AA you for 2+M, group content scaling is terrible as well, most encounter are also not possible for class without an interrupt like priest in the underkeep where you can’t interrupt the channeled ability that just kill you with defensive on. bran die constantly In any spec on top of that. This content Is a slog and yet reward way too much gears and upgrade token
I like the idea and concept behind delve, but the current iteration Is just plain bad, dying off a mob’s AA crit for 3.6M twice In a row Isn’t interesting, especially when It has 60 M hp and come by group of 3-4. If you form a group of 5 any thrash as more pv than a m 0 boss, LMAO.
I’ve been managing Tier 8s solo on MM Hunter, Prot Warrior, VDH, Outlaw Rogue (though this is substantially more painful), WW Monk, Ret Paladin and Holy Priest and overall the delves seem fine so far though a couple have been more trouble than others.
What tier are you going for and what ilvl are you? Ilvl makes a huge difference in the ease of Delves.
actually, i managed 10 level delve solo no problem and that was “troublesome” last season. I think 11 will be ez too. they are easier. IDK. just pick healer brann and you good
It can be hard for some people and that’s understandable.
I suggest you run lower tiers until you get better gear – then slowly climb your way up.
I couldn’t get past some mobs in T8 on my Outlaw Rogue, Brann kept dying and I couldn’t hold on my own. I’m running T7s now and I’m having a fun time. Vault will grant me decent gear and then I’ll work on running higher tiers.
Some classes can definitely struggle and not all of us are -great- players.
I had no problems last week running 8s on a shadow priest, Brann as healer. I didn’t find it much harder than the previous season despite the new ilvl suggestion (which I was way under in not fully upgraded season one delve gear ilvl around 620). Obviously shadow has an interrupt, which helps, but fearing everything works and if you’re playing holy you’re got chastise as a stun as well.
All life is like that. I am exceptionally gifted but I cannot pass the driving test in my country. I have to run everywhere or get my sister to give me a lift.
No one makes it alone. Just team up with someone who has the gifts you don’t. Part of being gifted is realising the limits of your gifts.
I don’t go on the Internet and cry the driving test is too hard. I do cry about it IRL all the time though.
You do realize that there are people that have completed Delve 11s the first day they went live right?
Sure. They were probably good players. But still. You dont see people doing +22 keys the first day of a patch. Or killing the raid bosses in mythic the 1st day.
And with that said, it is the SECCOND week of the patch. What exactly are you expecting from Delves?
Levels have a reason to exist. Which is to give you something to progress. So do it ! Progress through the levels as you get more gear and more experience.
Come back in one month. Not the 2nd week of the patch please.
I did too, with the braindead class like DK/WAR/PAL, but for class like PRIEST, especially HEALER, you CANNOT interrupt boss and you DIE LOL. Bring a friend ? all thrash get three and half more HP when you double you damage at BEST.
All the underline mob just make it worse :
Non Interruptible goblin who call ads ad vitam until It die
flying gob who perma stun brann
charge hobgoblin x3 who one shot bran and do Insane melee damage
Single hobgoblin who do even more AA damage
I sit on 60 gilded on 6 characters, that my honest feedback, I don’t enjoy delve because of a few Issue that ruin any enjoyment, overtuned stats, even more overtuned underpine thrash, unable to clear If you play some spec, and a group scaling that really put you at a disavantage for bringing friends
In a game designed for cooperative play from the very beginning, you reach the limitations of WOW when it comes to class balance. You even see the effects if you compare raids (20 people) to M+ (5 people) and PvP (2 people). Class power can vary widely depending on the game mode you play.
Dont forget Priest also has Power Infusion. Which is useless in solo content. But OP in group content. Shamans have BL. Which is a “nice to have gimmic” when solo. But when you buff 40 people at once it becomes mandatory.
In other words. You want to make Delves fair? You have 2 options :
Give every class all the tools available. And make Delves fun and engaging with fun mechanics. And possibly ruining all the other game modes (class balance wise).
Or dont. But then nerf Delves to the bare minimum every class can do. Lost of HP and white attacks. No mechanics. As the Open World content used to be (and continues to be).
So I get that you have certain complaints about Delves. But you have to be reasonable. WOW never was built for Solo Content from the beginning.
And the only way to solve this is to make Delves their own private mini game. Where when you go in you have seperate, brand new talents and skills. Which wont happen.
So basically : Even Delves have their “meta classes”. DK tank is “meta”. And priest is F tier. Happens in all other game modes, and we live with it. Welcome to end-game. And if you dont like it, we can go back to what it used to be.
