For people who would WANT to participate, this would mean:
Fast queue
Fast matches → less leavers
For people who DON’T WANT to participate in a Q without a healer:
Fast queue ← the other Q would drain a lot of DPS players, this would mean more healers for you guys!
I’ve read a blue post, about Blizz wanting to “incentify” healers to queue for solo shuffle, to cut back the insane solo Q times…
Nothing good has ever come from brainstorming the idea ‘alright, we’ve made this hoop, now how do we make players jump through it’. But this time, you can just go with the flow.
True, balance would be an issue, but let’s be honest: balance is always an issue. It’s an issue right now, it has been since times I can remember, it will probably remain so in the future.
if balance is trully an issue why not balance all classes around 1v1 too and not just 3v3 , so you don’t have a disadvantage , in MoP if you played your spec well you could 1v2 people or if you poped your def cds you didnt just flop and die like rn
I don’t know if you can truly do that - it’s not just about the individuals, it’s the synergy of the comp that matters. Even if you could perfectly balance each spec against all the others, some comps would naturally emergy as dominant because of their great synergy.
All I am saying, is - I’ve been in a Q for 25 minutes, my team has no healer, the other team has no healer, instead of waiting another 15, let’s just smash each other heads in, and queue another one. Simple solution for a simple problem.
Two’s are better then Three’s, so casters don’t have to kite 3 angry warriors at once.
You may as well shut down arena entirely because healers aren’t balanced either. In fact you may as well shut down every content in the game because there’s imbalance in bgs, dungeons, raids and even mat gathering. Perfect balance will never exist.
The point of solo shuffle was that people could just log in and play without worrying about the perfect comp or waiting for a healer.
