When players stop asking for it and forget they ever did so Blizzard can implement it like it was their original idea.

But ye.
Lots of players asking for and it would breathe much life into rated Battlegraveyard.

Yeah. I’ve never done a single RBG in my entire WoW life. I’d give it a shot if I could solo queue though.

For RBG, would be a decent idea. For Arena, it would be a clown fiesta, wouldn’t work.

I want this so bad. I can not be bothered with all the custom group nonsense.

As long as the option is still there for pre-made groups only mode, where the really serious PvPers can still push for high rank as usual, I see absolutely no problem with it.

Ranked solo PVP could work, I love the idea of arena comps being random not the exact same class set up, and honestly I think that takes way more skill than being the same team comp in voice comms.

Rated BG would be great solo queue. But by solo queue I mean solo queue, no duos or premades.

Before anyone says “OH but PVE players are against solo PVE queues for raids or M+?” It’s different because PVE is designed with the expectation of organised communication, players working for days if not weeks with the same roster, specific class comps, assigned players, a raid leader, etc.

PVP is not tailor made content. It’s natural, player vs player content. So solo works.

got to agree, solo ranked pvp would be great.

But on the other side with honor being a currency again there are far more people in bgs afking or just plain out honor farming instead of trying to win. If ranked+ the gear behind it became solo queable i’m sure there will be tons of afkers.

If solo q will be a thing there also should be some kind of mechanism wich disqualifies people for ranked if they afk too often

They can earn the conquest PvP gear by afking in unranked so it doesn’t really make a difference. I capped my conquest this week in about 3 hrs and I haven’t played a single ranked match.

Not going to happen.
Blizzard has to pander to the vanilla/tbc crowd who likes the idea of having to custom form a group.
I know solo queue would work but blizzard don’t want to trigger the 0.5% of the player base whos experience of the game will be forever ruined because people can join rated bgs using the tool without a group, even though they can still form custom groups.

They should just do it anyway, those people won’t actually quit, they’ll just cry on forums about people being able to solo queue rated bgs.

Kinda wish epic battlegrounds get a rework, NO ONE summons the boss in Ashran (WTF who will get 3000 fragments blizz?), and in AV you ignore the entire PvP portion.

Excusive Solo/Duo only RBG bracket will be something best which ever happen to WoW PvP. game popularity will skyrocket

Why solo/duo RBG will be nice?
-It ensures fairplay (no more premade vs randoms)
-Since its random its hard to form those low skill boring meta premades, so basicly it will be more skills less meta.
-in 21th century its unacceptable to wait 1 hour to form RBG group to play one game
-All classes will have oportunity to shine

In Shadowlands rBGs seem to be back, but this may be temporary for the launch, so this 0,5% won’t be able to whine about it if it is the only way to join an RBG in the first place.

It would make difference becouse its ranked match and these players would simply throw your games and make you to lose raiting.

They’d be on both teams though, so it’s kind of fair… really. Little bit of afk rng to spice things up, no?

If they will afk they reduce their chance to get decent rank for A LOT. If you are decent player you can slip through it and be higher rank than afkers.

Well some people dont care about and dragging others down. If solo queue for rated bgs would be a thing, then most people would play that in normal due to better chances of reward with rank and all. Wich means all the afkers and people who dont kick afkers move on to ranked as well.

solo queue for arenas probably would not suffer as much because its kind of hard to afk there and still win
