Any other game with 20-30+ min queue times would be considered a dead game.
So are there plan to fix this and actual get more healers interested in doing solo queues.
Now in prime time queue eta is 22 min. yesterday I had a 39 min queue duration.
I would really like the hear from the dev team if they have plans in the work, or is this it. Cause if this is it I am not gonna bother with it anymore tbh.
(of topic, why is my avatar my lock on pc and my priest on phone. -_-)
The queue is not this long because it has a low amount of players, but the ratio between healer and dps is just way off. There’s too many dps or too few healers. The only way to fix this is to make healing a fun experience and/or hand more rewards tied to the healing role so more people queue as healer.
Same reason i don’t log on any more. Waiting 20-30 mins for a queue pop is not something someone with limited time can do. With pvp you wanna press a button, get a game in <60 seconds, rinse and repeat.
When you’re not pvping it’s not like you can pve to improve your character for pvp. There’s literally nothing to do. Once you’re fully kitted bgs and such do nothing for you.
I’m not suprised no one wants to heal in wow. It’s a frustratingly poor role, with little incentive and too many counters.
All that coupled with the wild swings of buffs and nerfs, where classes go from D tier to S tier to D tier over a space of weeks. Or Classes that are head and shoulder above other classes get even more buffs.
I could go on, but suffice to say there’s a reason Hardcore pve streamers have been getting twice the viewers as the awc finals have.
They could start by making healers not only play against healers in terms of rating gain.
I’ve been up against several 1800-1900 dps players only to get like… 5 points for wining 4-2, because the other healer is below me in mmr. It’s dumb and needs fixing.
My friend that plays a warlock has a 45% winrate, I have almost 60% but he is almost 200 rating higher than me on my holy priest. I need to win an absurd amount of games to make the same rating he does when he wins even one game.
Maybe they should just give gold for 3 wins. 500G should get some people interested. Or remove damping and think of something else to not make healing feel like a uphill battle.
There is not a single reason why a healer should solo shuffle. I played it when it first came out. Now I’ve given up on it. I create my own group and invite the people and classes I want to play with. I don’t have to spend 30 minutes in the same lobby. Just to get a little more currency.
I bet this mode will either be removed in the next expansion or the healers requirement will be removed.
