Well, it was fun while it lasted.
When Blitz was unrated it usually had about 5 minutes queue time. 15 minutes in the worst case scenario.
Now it’s rated and we’re up to Solo Shuffle queue time territory with upwards of 45 minute queues!
Unnecessary dooming.
Rated Blitz is not played because armor scaling rigged the whole ecosystem. Bug submit was done by me already.
As it is now, you REALLY don’t want to meet Blood DK or Ret Pala in rated PvP etc. Example: in my PvP gear, I am almost armor capped, that is 75% reduction of all physical damage. And we are not considering yet versatility and so forth.
lots of people don’t know its there
Did healer have shorter q time
did not try it yet?
I dislike blitz becouse peps can’t use lust and my drum is not working there.
Most peps don’t know how to click 1 button.
How is stating a fact “dooming”? lol
And btw, the reason is not because it’s not played… There’s always 16 people to be found in all of europe… The same way you will always find 6 people to play Solo Shuffle and yet the queues are atrocious.
Troll somewhere else, please.
Que pops are fine. Its the que deniers that are doing my head in.
Miss a que needs to have a penalty time that doubles for each misses/denied que.
When I made the post I was sitting in multiple >1h queues in a row.
Only one Rated Blitz after another, standing around in Valdrakken in the meantime. No other queues, no questing, nothing.
But yeah, totally… “fine”
Depends on time of the day, this morning it took me about 45+ mins to play on 2.2 mmr. In the afternoon, it slightly reduced 20+ tops if not less.
what is your score to be at 2.2
i feel like this is going the same as blitz…
1 game i was 1950 mmr
i win
next game 1450…
I’ve had similar thing today where I won a match and it pushed me down to 1.9, then next game it went back to 2.2 so I’m not sure why the MMR is innacurate but it could also be due to your teammates being lower for the MMR.
how many games win lose we talking ?
i haven’t honestly played many, i played some, and i felt the games were terrible and unenjoyable and full of beginners and griefers…
griefers you get them even on higher MMR, you just have to think more about what you can provide in the matches rather than worrying about rating, overtime as you win, you’ll build up MMR. Right now there are some imbalances like facing several DKs or Rets in one lobby, some you get a better set up which offers better flexibility.
With bad balance this really was poking in my eye, facing 3 ele schamis and on our team where 3 hunters
How can the game not try too avoid class or specc stacking on the teams
PvP has always been imbalance, you see this stuff even in randoms, and when a spec is broken op, a silly example boomy, you sometimes see meme comps in rbgs with 7 boomies 1 of them being an offtank spec with 3 healers just because lol.
But just cause something seem imba doesn’t mean you have to accept an defeat.
Sometimes it’s your advantage if the enemy team have many FOTM spec, coz most of them can’t even play his spec properly, only knows how press that 3 button to burst, some utlity spells not even on their bars
Yesterday for example we went against 2 ele, 2 dk, 1 ret, i was assuming we already lost in the first second… then we destoryed them with sh, ww monk and other non-broken classes/specs, we had 1 ret pala maybe.
Also: MM Hunter maybe not the best DD in PvP right now, but the tools they bring to the team can win the match easily.
Can you elaborate please? I am new to hunter. I want to win some games too.
RoS/freedom on FC, aoe stun, aoe slow, knockback(s) to peel, silence, freezing trap can help a lot too in many situations. Hunters also very good at base defense.
Damage is not everything. A rogue for example, even if naked can get out a healer for 30 sec easly, and it’s value way more than their neglible damage currently.
Example for smart moves: We lost CTF map where the FC was monk heal. A smart hunter was waiting on the roof at the position where the monk placed his port. Their melees attacked the FC on the lower floor, almost killed the monk, he ported to the roof but the hunter were waiting for him and knocked him down back instantly. If that hunter were going only for damage his team would lose the game 10 sec later.
I was about to make an ele shaman for one shotting people and winning all games. After your great tips, i will stick to my hunter. Thank you
I sense “some” sarcasm here Imho It’s not worth to start an ele shaman just because it’s overtuned right now.
