Solo Queue Times

Hello,

If someone from the PVP team reads this, please consider the following improvement for WoW’s PVP.

As of now, the solo rated queue times are quite long (10+ minutes). My recommendation is this:

  1. REMOVE all PVP game modes (they are too many - we don’t need so many different PVP modes that provide no real rewards)
  2. CREATE ONLY 2* NEW QUEUES (Solo Shuffle and Solo Rated BGs + DELETE EPIC BGs from the game)
  3. *OPTIONAL SEPARATE PREMADE QUEUES for both (for people who play premade)
  4. BOTH these queues should provide honor, conquest and progress for the seasonal mount

PVP now is too spread out. Why is there such thing as PVP Brawl? Who needs that? It’s a waste of time. You also don’t need 2v2s, 3v3s, etc .. why spread it like that? What’s the point? You’re just creating huge queue times for an already underwhelming reward systems.

Just go the “modern PVP matchmaking” route. It’s simple and proven it works.

There are not enough people in the game. Beta is empty , remix is ending soon and it’s dead. Retail feels dead I barely see people in war mode out of dornogal.

It’s like blizz gave up on pvp hotfixes and people left.

Its been so unbalanced regards every season and entire expansion filled with annoying stuff in pvp that I dont blame anyone who left. Its also still worst role to heal shuffle so no surprise to me if que times remain long. The que times are also longer if there is some like algos that try prevent same specs entering same lobby, if it would just match same mmr ppl together like arena does there would be faster ques.

I remember they said to keep an eye on stuff regards shuffle once but I havent really seen anything done about nothing so I dont really blame ppl if they just got enough and left. I have friend whose arena team split due ppl quitting wow and he tried shuffle and said he dont care sit on 30min ques and said to uninstall, ppl are just starting have enough of soloqs and lack of anything done about queue times or arenas deflation.

For next expansions PvP notes I see they add “epic bg map” I guess thats it then. Next expansion if class designs are bad and ppl dont enjoy pvp the game could become even more dead than now. Some ppl also like addon change and some ppl will quit because of it so we lose ppl for that too. I have feeling from season 2 onwards it could be fewer ppl than now, season 1 prolly has the ppl trying it out and then quitting.

So you think having 1000 game modes is healthier for the game than not having 10+ minutes queue times that make people quit PVP?

I dont see 10-15min being that long que time. But I guess thats just personal belief.

Only time ive had rly high que time are around 03-08 or something around there.

There are things they could try to do to fix PvP, but im not going to act like I know it will. But your choices is def not it.

One of the main issue is that alot of ppl play for certain rewards only. Not because its fun. Balancing being another part. Just look at how broken MM hunter is right now.

Yeah, if i get elite transmog in 4 days queuing as Unholy, no need to continue playing further pvp.
