Started playing WoW after coming from Dota2 and wondering why we dont have Rated Arena for people who want to Solo queue. You are forced to try to find people in LFG.
In Dota2 you can just solo queue and click a option to only play again random solo players like yourself. So strange WoW does not implement this system because not everyone has a team to play with all the time.
So why not change add Arena skirmish rated with 2v2 & 3v3.
Be interested to hear from someone who disagrees or agrees with my view.
The only good thing about solo queue arenas is that it can actually help you find real team mates in order to play the real premade game.
3v3 especially is just not fit for solo queue experience… the game has been dumbed down a lot since the old days, yet for any set up comp solo queue wouldnot work.
If you look at the best players in this game, they all rely a one thing :
a vast friend list of like minded players with similar experience
so they always have good teammates to queue with regardless of what they play
It makes the arena game a very insider/outsider environment where connections and relationships are the most important thing first and for most.
I doubt that a randomized match making system can actually change that. Simply because it has been done in MOBA games doesn’t mean that it is the cooky cutter solution for other games… even more so when they have different systems. if anything, it generates a lot of toxicity and hatred actually.
Now we should actually implement a solo queue for 6v6 battle arenas for instance… they once were featured at blizzcon ( 2016 I think it was). That would be very nice. If you could attach a pvp progression system to it that would be quiet a treat.
LFG is a torture i never wish anyone to go through.
I did it everytime i came back trying to play BFA and it always turned me off and made me stop playing. I do believe solo que does help player who just want to log in and get some games going if they only have 15-30 min to play aswell.
Because the company is REALY lazy they straight up removed personal loot just because there were too many support tickets about how someone got scammed because they were stupid , there is no hope in blizzaard for pvp honestly
the people that want soloq are the same people that are going to be the first to cry on the forums how much of a circus it is if they really end up releasing it
soloq arena would be the permanent death for world of warcraft pvp. it does not work in this game and it will never work. stop asking for this garbage
there is some truth to this but saying that its going to be the death of pvp is a questionmark in itself , wow pvp is already dead and its only still a thing because of the expansion hype its gona go down fast
Normal bg’s becomes rated solo bg’s you get and lose rating solo, just as now just rated. You can do it casually and stick around 1300 1400 fine.
Then TEAM rated bg, which are current rbg’s so 0 changes there.
So thats basically it afk’ers, bots, and casuals who cap get filtered down, the more try hards are higher.
And fine to leave best cosmetics prestige out of it, even tho i see no reason ? I mean i think its gona be harder to solo 2400 then to get there with a grp.
