In a time that everybody is complaining about the fairness of rated pvp Blizzard allow a healer to queue with a friend dps as party. So imagine the scenario that 2 healers (with 2 dps friends) queue sync, then you have half premade in a blitz bg match.
Also I strogly believe that this is the reason for q times from 3 mins skyrocketed to more than 10.

say thanks to those who supported duo blitz when we were complaining about this to blizz. People still don’t understand how bad it affects the queue time and unfair when a solo players matches against duos
How is this the reason when duo queue with a healer has been allowed since the mode has been around but the queue times have been so long only after they changed the matchmaking algorithm two weeks ago?
The reason for the longer queue times is that they changed how the matchmaking works. Imo it hardly improved the quality of the matches but increased the time you have to spend in queue tremendously.

Well ppl didn’t know that you could q as party at first but now they do. That why now you see 1.6k rating guys in 2.8k rating match.
Everyone knew it from the start lol.
