Why is there no real punishment for leaving Solo Shuffle (much the opposite, it’s actually beneficial to leave instead of taking a decisive loss)?
Why is there no reward for the players who didn’t leave?
With queue times for dps as long as 30 minutes it’s the worst gaming experience to have someone leave the shuffle in round 6 when you are winning.

I had about 8 games gaining zero rating as heal . Either someone left or was 3/3 rounds.
Then at 9th game I left.
I came back, I got 110 points. Next one I got 86 points.
Absolutely something is wrong.

Yea, all the fixes right now are just bugs, you can see that there are no new balance changes. That’s why there is the impression that they don’t care. In fact, devs are just following the backlog, and probably they are/will work on solving solo queue issue with different team in parallel.
Just take a break from the mode for a couple of days.
True, I did not play S2 in BC.
I did play SL Choreghast though and the punch in the face when you are winning solo shuffle and the loser just leaves because that is less punishing for him then taking the loss is a worse experience imo. I really don’t understand why they designed it so that you get benefits from leaving the game.

I must say something here . I absolutely start to love leaving. To destroy everything. I dont know why but it s a fact and I must thank bliz they gave me the opportunity to control others in a bad way which somehow it feels good. I feel good, despite i lose 200-300 rating points and got 2 hours penalty. Since it s in the game i can use it.

This is more important than the punishment of the leavers.
This work requires people to be there 24/7. In 70% of the businesses at least 10% of the people have to work on holidays because the business relies on it. If you take hospitality for the example, the number is even bigger than the actual number of the people who work there. No one is being called a slave, but this is how the world works. Having everybody on a vacation (even for religious circumstances) is not a good management in business, someone has to sacrifice it when it comes to businesses like this. What if the game with all these subscriptions shut down for 2 weeks since they have been gone?
Unfortunately, if you are good, you will suffer from someone else’s mistakes. You’ll suffer if you make a mistake too. We are all human, so if someone f-ed at the time that person was on your team, you just lose rating. It’s really hard to make a progress like that.
I must say that’s a smart way to protest the non-balance. I wish we all agree to do it continuously.
Today, it’s a crime being intelligent, since that word is being used for those people occasionally. My point is - that’s not his fault. It’s Blizzard’s. The queue times is their problem and the non-balance in everything too. If it’s a clown shuffle, why not be a clown yourself. Whoever has a limited time doesn’t suffer cause of the leavers. They suffer cause of the design.

Dude, it’s a game. And that is his way of protesting. If he wasn’t allowed to do that, there wouldn’t be an option to do so. The things that affects those people is their time they’ve chosen to spend on the game with the risk of being wasted (cause of the bad design). Psychopathic behavior is when the person is purposely affecting someone’s life, health, wealth or productive time.
It’s a game, and it’s also real life people’s IRL time.

i agree with this toxic experience, i got a brewski monk as dps on mine
i pumped 47k hps on the tank and he still just sitting on 20% hp whole round and just dieing it was god awful to heal and the spec do nothing for our win
idk i just had dog run over the internet cable after chaseing a squeaky toy
it disconnected me from the game
Tbh Solo queue is one of the best features in many years. LOVE IT.
Never cared about PVP, they could remove it in the past and i would not care. but SOLO Queue, I’m in!
But have to agree with the poster, the queue time is insane, 40min and up are kinda insane.
And to make it worse, if you just played a match and used 40min in a queue and some random guy just leaves the match. 1h of your day wasted on nothing.
And to top it off. the 40 min in queue, you can only do “solo” content, because you cant group open world while in a queue, so GG
