It has been like this for most of the time. During all of the seasons through DF there were most of the time 1-2 healers who have been significantly better in Shuffle than the others. âDynamic balanceâ (aka constantly changing the fotm class) might work for some dps specs to some extend when the class has more specs to choose from like rogue, lock etc. For a role that is already heavily underrepresented but required this concept certainly doesnât work.
And people are asking since years to change the healer MMR system because making rating inflation based off activity doesnât work when there are less healers than dps players and they have seperated MMR pools. Make it percentage based like rank 1 titles in Shuffle, inject MMR into the healer MMR or even this borderline dumb idea to give healers MMR for going 3-3 would be better than this freakshow which we have now.
They unironically should do that at this point⌠Do turn healers into support specs which share the same queue as dps players (like Augmentation), change arena so that people do respawn, let them bang on each other for 5 minutes and the team with more kills winsâŚ

The reward for treating Healers like trash. Same thing is going to happen in Solo RBG.
Healers make pvp boring and look like pillow fight.
Well there are 62 healers above 2100 in blitz bg right now and the role is healthy represented in the top 100. In Shuffle thereâs one healer above 2100 vs 22 dps above 2100. On top of that healers can duoq Blitz with a friend instead of having a pseudo 1v1 against whatever healer is meta currently.
Healers who want to play arena will play 2s and 3s with friends. Healers who want to push rating will play blitz bg. Shuffle will die out in lightning speed unless it gets hotfixed (unlikely).
Its because healer life in SS is miseryâŚSpecially if you are not disco priest or dragon, and those 2 classes alone cannot drive short que.
Entire SS for healer feels like party where anyone have fun while healer is only one who pays the bill. Guy die with ALL defensives aviable, who cares healer gonna get punished for -50, but when healer wins +10 ⌠its just awesome system
ONLY SOLUTION: Make system which snapshot people death condition, if guy die with his major defensive aviable, healer lose -50% less for that particular round⌠problem solved !
Right now playing healer is pure masochism, and sacrifice of your time and efford so others can have fun
Playing healer is extremely stressful and punishing if You are not 2k+ exped.
The issue is, if the other healer is noticeably better than You, there is a good chance You lose 0-6. Nobody wants to be 0-6 in solo shuffle. This means, most not super good players wonât queue at all, or at least one of the healers will be much better than the other, because its only fun if You are good.
Also , while You are 0-6 , your teammates will flame You to hell, which I can tell You, not a fun experience. I also think there is no easy solutions for this, just make it a 6 dps showdown.
Rly i have more the expirience too most of the time going 3-3 witch give zero mmr or raiting
And if you play rly good and all went well its a 4-2 + 10
Then one bad stuff happen 2-4 - 50
this is what tilts me the most , cause there is always one black duck in the team and sometimes you cant carry them even if you play like jesus.
and then sometimes when you have bad team or just die from being trained for example and healer cant keep up you lose games and get punished more than rewarded
what they should do , if you go 3-3 get 20 rating
if you go 4-2 get 30
and if you go 6-0 you get like 50 rating
Its even more fun if that black duck lose 5 rounds by not using a single defensive skillâŚthan he decide to use it one round for some reason, and baaaam -40 for unlucky healer.
Also even draws can tank down your MMR, if you draw versus slightly lower MMR team, so draw is basicly invisible lose for healer.
Of course shuffle is dead, or will be soon. Shuffle has always been trash, it was only ever popular because it was the path of least resistance. And now solo bg is the new easiest rated content, so naturally shuffle wonât be played anymore.
I donât think anyone will miss that horrible experiment, the shuffle playerbase is probably content with having solo bg instead.
Because people isnât forced in to the arena boredom anymore, 1v1 arena would be fun, 2v2 and 3v3 is almost as boring as pveâŚ

Decides to throw, guy was getting nuked and he flies away with him out of my sight. I had both guardian spirit and swap ready but he decided to just kill him.
I swear, evoker players needs to be banned from using their rescue without peopleâs permission to do so. Pretty much every time Iâve seen rescue being used, it causes the healer to get CCâd to hell or kills a DPS because they line the healer.
Thatâs actually the elephant in the room which nobody is talking about. There are almost 6 times more healers above 2,4 in blitz bg than above 2,1 in Shuffle. If this trend continues then Shuffle will be completely dead at the end of season.

I can get my rewards from Blitz now, so I will never need to do arenas again, shuffle or otherwise.
Also doesnât help that the already dwindling PvP playerbase has now been split 5 ways on Retail alone.
BG Blitz queues seem great until you realise that theyâre throwing together whoever they can find at the time to form the lobbies. In my 27 games so far (24 wins, 2 loss, 1 draw), only two of them have had average MMRs above 1600.
I have 1666 CR kek. +6 for a win, -16 for a loss sure does make for a compelling experience /s.
