Solo Shuffle queue times outside 19-24 Cest, and ideas to mitigate queue times

Hello, long time arena enjoyer here.

I was queuing this morning and experiencing a 30+ minute queue time as dps from 14-15:00 cest. I was wondering if anything is planned to help the healer scarcity in season 3 of TWW?

My solution to this, and i do not know if this is already mentioned, is whenever u complete 3 healer lobbies, you would “bank” up 3 dps priority queues that you could schedule for active play hours?

Maybe just a bit more transparancy in queue times if no active healers are queueing.

Upsides includes less wait time.
Downsides could be longer queue times for newer players.

  • Reduce the rating requirement by 100 for Healers. Rival at 1700, Duelist at 2000, Elite at 2300.
  • Track dampening during shuffle. If a DPS player goes 0-6, the healer who managed to keep him alive the longest is rewarded with +10 MMR for objectively being a better healer than his opponent.
  • Create a seasonal armor set that can only be earned by healing 50 shuffle games, at any rating threshold.
  • Create a seasonal mount set that can only be earned by healing 100 shuffle games, at any rating threshold.

This should do.

Nah Blizzard just need too make MMr fair for healer, Q 100 rounds as heal and you know what’s bad about being a heal

They are too lazy too fix it

If you have no patience, just roll a healer.

I did it, I am not questioning my sanity yet, but might get there soon. At least I do not have to wait 30+ minutes to play 5 minutes of arena though.

I guess i can, but thats just not gonna be a solution long term. I suppose a low player population and healers reduced agency in arenas is the root problem, but i believe there can be a 3rd alternative.

But i agree on the sanity part, 1800-2100 on healer is a nightmare with cooldown assignments and positioning. Who cares about peeling the cyclone/sleep walk spam or incaps, when u can press more dps amirite?
