Solo shuffle, won 5 rounds, +3 rating increase. Very high-level coding here

I’d like to thank the PvP Devs / Matchmaking Devs for all their hard work and dedication towards making Solo Shuffle a success! /s

i have a suggestion, dont play solo shuffle, and remove it.

Its normal because you had loosing streak in previous arenas, you need few wins to get back in normal gain of points.

Exactly this ^

Notice the role MMR average is 100 below yours

This means you are facing lower-skill level players than yourself, therefore the system believes you should win those rounds.

There are 2 possible reasons you were put in this match

  1. Losing streak before this game, although I’m not sure how that is possible on lower than beginner MMR, but anyway
  2. Early morning queue and lack of players with exact or closer MMR to yours

Both make sense as I have not heard of many players being 1.2k. The starting MMR for most beginners is like 1.5k, meaning this is lower than the beginner mmr.

Best of luck on your push and hope this makes sense

It’s like this to decrease the Q time.
Less and less people play rated.
So players with any rating get mixed in.

Your MMR = CR, and the lobby MMR is 100 cr below, it’s working as intended.

This. You played games 100 MMR below your MMR. You are expected to win those games since it’s such a large rating gap. Working as intended.

This is an awful design for shuffle tbh.

You can get an awful lobby simply because of the comp of it, and then it just wrecks your MMR. Get like, triple caster as a warrior, or double lock, and a shaman or two as a mage, it’s just gg

But you will rarely face a counter comp 5-6 times in a row in normal 3s. That needs to be accounted for

Or:

Make shuffle 4 rounds, and always caster, melee, healer, which would also remove most toxic lobbies

Just make it a singular 3v3, problem solved.

Agree alot people tried ask that soloq for several years, i dont know why we got this shuffle and why it was separated from arena tho. I dont see how dividing playerbase into multiple different modes could be a good thing.

it’s fairer to get a bad comp every now and then than six in a row

i agree, if you get bad lobby in shuffle your just stuck there 6 rounds when 1 normal round in arena would be over and possibility for better in next que. this type of soloq seemed to work on priva and dps had 2-5min ques, I had 40min que today for shuffle. I wouldnt mind playing some normal dampen arena either.
