The endless part was more or less nerfed. As far as layer 8, it’ll be hard for everyone first week without gear.

The usual suspects, Blood DK, BM Hunter, Prot and Ret Paladin, and DH (both specs).
I didn’t include Warlock because you’ll have to choose between a pet tank and a silence, and I think the silence will be more valuable.

Torghast is designed with solo in mind. Every class should be able to solo Torghast.
With that said, you’re probably looking at something like Mage with the blink + mirror image build. I hear Shaman has a good build too.
Outside of that you’re probably safe relying on the base kit of the specs, looking for stuff with powerful CDs and damage mitigation.

Once geared? Doesn’t matter. On the first week or two, any tank or healer spec will have an advantage over pure DPS, because surviving will matter more than being fast. Tanks will have an advantage over healers, because they have interrupts, while healers typically do not.
From my own experiments, prot pally, vengeance DH, guardian and resto druid and disc priest are all good at soloing layer 8 in low (~ilevel 160-170, so a mix of normal & heroic dungeon) gear.

I’m just going to say resto shaman. Mobs have a lot less health and resto has epic interrupts and some CC
It’s going to be very boring though. After doing the visions with resto shaman, I’d say that the lack of aoe is its most defining trait.
Visions are a whole different story, and I will never touch that content again.
If I’m bored, I can always go elemental. Though honestly, I very much prefer to go in a group, feels like a lot more fun.
My bets are on DH and fury warrior. But that’s in part because these are the classes I’ve played most. Paladin will probably do good and maybe hunter.
It’s gear>skill>class
class is prolly the last factor of how fast/efficient u can clear .

you are better off on the beta forums since torghast isnt out yet. but i’d say dk and dh as ussual due to their disgusting amount of selfhealing
