Which mythic raids are soloable now, at lvl 120 with a fairly decent ilvl? I want mostly to farm WoD raids for transmogs and titles.
You get some sort of legacy buff in old content which makes you damage millions to mobs and bosses up to warlords of draenor (legion raids presumably gets this buff when shadowlands releases). The only boss in WoD which is a bit tricky is the Blast Furnace in blackrock foundry (and i mean there’s a technique to do it, but you can’t die). You may want to check it out before attempting. The rest is quite literally oneshot (and not “first attempt oneshot” i mean 2 abilities and they are dead).
P.S: Siege of ogrimmar in pandaria has some troublesome bosses if you are not prepared for it, but once you know the trick they were easy to solo too.
You could solo WoD raids in Legion already, so go right ahead and nuke 'em.
There is no boss that’ll give you problems, except maybe Archimonde Mythic, since he can do a knockback that kills you.
well except mythic legion raids. not everyone can solo them.
He said WoD raids.
Legion Mythics you can’t solo, unless you’re a certain class.
thats why i quoted what you said.
I can’t get past the first boss in Hellfire on mythic on pretty much any class.
Any tips?!
do you mean your priest or what character / level are we talking about?
Which is the first boss to you? There’s 3 areas you can start at.
Sorry. I’m an idiot
I meant Hellfire
I’ve gotten pretty much everything from BlackRock!
Do you destroy the vehicles and pick up the glowing crates and run to the cannons with 'em? Otherwise you ain’t Downing that boss.
You also can’t let the mobs hit the cannons.
oh yeah the first boss can be a little tricky when you re alone, just make sure you re quick enough with the ammonition.
That boss got nerfed not so long ago. Mobs will attack the turrets, kill them reasonably quickly, because if they destroy the turrets it’s a wipe. Eventually war machines will spawn. If you kill them, they will drop a shiny box. You can’t miss them if you try. They glow green. Pick them up and run back to one of the big turrets. The turrets will start shooting the actual boss. Do the trick with the boxes 3-4 times, while keeping the turrets alive (not hard, but some movement speed abilities are nice to have). Keep rotating which turret receive a box for the best results. Done.
Will i be able to Solo play a violin next expac?
Yeah know the tactics. Can just be tricky to be quick enough, especially with a slowmo like a lock or holy priest
Go in on shadow/affliction dot the mobs and forget about them. I can’t imagine the dots not killing them almost instantly at lvl120 and 400+gear. If movement is an issue invest in some movement speed potions they are nice to have anyways. You should not run around that much really. Just between the two turrets and the warmachines. You can and should let the machines get close to the turrets tho’
Seed or Phantom Singularity.
BAM!
all the likes, this is the best advice I’ve ever had on here. thanks!
now I’m just running about One-Button-Bill’ing it
All raids are soloable on mythic as far as (in my case Nythendra of legion) WoD.
The only raid that couldn’t be soloed (before) was Hellfire Citadel’s 1st boss due to the adds destroying the fel cannons too quickly (for the part of the meta I still suggest doing this on normal) but that has been changed so you only need to throw 4 ammo crates into it and the adds attacking it more or less tickle the cannons, giving you ample time (even as shock horror!! a dk!!) to kill any adds attacking your cannon. To avoid Archimonde’s knockback, gather all your strength save your cooldowns and what not and burst them right at the start with everything you’ve got, with luck you should have Archimonde down to 0.001% hp when he transitions. In fact the only time you should die on that encounter is if it bugs you and kills you with the drop. Even if it does don’t worry Archimonde will still be dead and you can ress, port to the Black Gate and pick up your loot, and hopefully your mount.
Those have been soloable since bfa launch.
