Soloing boss in Ashran

Okay I was just in an Ashran and you know sometimes you get a tank on the enemy team that solos our boss in secret while everyone is fighting.

Well I saw an enemy DK tank was healing more than all healers yet no where to be seen so I assumed he was on our boss (Alliance Grand Marshal). But when I went to find the Grand Marshal and that enemy horde tank I couldn’t find them anywhere, not in his room or even up the stairs and on the balconys on either side. I coudln’t even type /target the horde player because they had a weird Russian name. I went all around the building and pressing tab to target any nearby enemy players but couldn’t find him anywhere. Usually they tank the boss at the corner on the boss room, but not this one.

Anyway as I was looking for him to heal our boss up (I’m a healer) we lost the game. Our Grand Marshal died even though we were winning with well over 100 reinforcements left.

Can someone tell me where these tanks hide the boss on the Alliance side so this doesn’t happen again. Where did that tank take the boss so no one could find them? I couldn’t find the tank or our boss anywhere near the boss building or around it, so where were they?

If it’s the alliance boss, they usually take her to the basement. You do know we have a basement, don’t you? ;p

I’m really fed up with back-dooring but I guess it’s fully intentional by the devs because it would have been an easy fix years ago. Just give him buffs while base is not under siege.

I actually didn’t know this, I’ll prob look for it next Ashran. But still unsure why I couldn’t tab target any nearby enemy players near the keep. Maybe it won’t target anyone who is in the basement not sure.

Mmm, well if you don’t know we have a basement, I assume you’re also not carrying scrolls of town teleport that port you back to base for just such occasions?

The basement is on the right when you enter her keep, through a hallway.
