Nah, not as LOL-mode or at least not much, just genuine practice. Say, you play at 2800 as warlock. You want to try a shadow priest. So you gear one up and go do solo queue. You get to, eg, 2100. Then maybe you decide that you like it and take her to team queue. Or you decide that you don’t like it and don’t bother. Things like that.

Anyway, let’s see if they will even implement it. They probably just won’t.

Holy dogma is:
All classes will be viable in solo que if played well, if some random mage cailm that he must have rogue each game he que, its skill related issues

So excuses that some classes will sux in soloQ is BS and skill related issue, play well and you wont lose.

In regular retail que, main issue is, you can play well, you can be better, yet you gonna lose game versus some meta setup just because they are meta, they can afford 100 mistakes, you cant afford single mistake… thats why people disrespect AWC, thats why people lose faith in WoW PvP , thats why WoW PVP is low skill meta parade joke, meta is source of hatred and disrespect in this game, all because better do not win ! Its just sad that winner is decided what setup they play but not how they play ! To play some meta setups player can be morons, yet still see victory screen, this must stop ! If WoW want to be serious E-sport than better must win, not one with better setup, winner must be decided how people play not what they play ! End of story.

And with soloQ around people will play what they actualy like and enjoy not what meta slaving impose upon them.

Regarding WoW PVP and skill, by the way. It’s absolutely true that WoW arenas are NOT an epitome of skill and reward dumb things like meta over it any day. There were multiple illustrations of that before with WoW gladiators going to other games where they would try to be competitive and esporty and would ultimately achieve nothing.

Recently I came to a reverse illustration: apparently several guys from PIRATE servers decided to come to SL and get their ranks. We all heard the opinion on pirate servers being trash and bla bla bla. And we all know that SL season 1 had massive rating depression and gear walls and whatnot. So you would expect these poor guys to do, well, poorly. However. They got named ranks. The highest ranks there are in the game. They got them easily. Took their prize, shrugged ‘meh, nothing special’ and went to play other games.

This is what WoW arenas are. A pit of mediocrity. We are looking at the same 10-12 teams on AWC and the players in them and they are supposed to be top of the top, but in reality a couple of guys from pirate servers come and take rank 1s no big deal. Because top of the top in WoW does not amount to much in terms of skill in the global sense. Players outside of WoW are way more skillful. And why is that? Because next to nobody plays WoW PVP. And why is that? Well, because there is no solo queue. And because they broke PVP with the gearing system in SL. And because the balance is bad, of course.

Ever wondered why boosters are out of control? not because gear gap, for sure gear help but its not main reason. Boosters are out control because they have meta setup with which they can trample, even if their 3rd person dont do well… now imagine how those classes are badly balanced and overtuned, when meta setup can allow entire player to slack and still see victory screen.

Wont fix Ur skill guys

They said in an Interview once solo q will never come

Solo go wow soloq

What is soloq

It won’t happen because Blizzard refuses to acknowledge the tank imbalance in RBGs. People will complain non-stop when the enemy team gets a guardian druid and they’re stuck with a blood dk.

They started to play around the idea of letting Horde and Alliance raid together

Whenever they start realising that tierlists and metaslaving destroyed the pugging then they will wake up and create solo queue atleast for rbgs

gief soloQ yesterday

Blizzard, #soloqueue when?

" we’re introducing a new PVP brawl with the Eternity’s End update as our take on what solo queue in World of Warcraft could look like. It’s called Solo Shuffle, and we want players to give us feedback and see if it’s a feature we can permanently add. The idea is that we take 6 players, throw them in a pool, and have them fight in 3v3 arena matches in every possible combination you could form among those 6 players. The one with the best rating at the end essentially wins."

I hope we get it

Solo queue wont work as of the scant few players who still want to play RBG’s it will be impossible to form a team since no one will want to group at all. At that point why not just migrate all the conquest gains over the randomBGs and scarp the feature alltogether? Believe it or not some people actually want to do group battlegrounds with sweaty tryhards. Except those punks who do it in normal bg’s they don’t want the challenge.

Also if you deprive them of the group experiance they will find it in normal bg’s making the premade situation even worse.

Edit: I also realized that its frustrating enough in arena when you have your rating ruined by grouping with the wrong people but now imagine what grouping with 3 or 4 terrible players would do. Carrying in 2’s or 3’s is doable but carrying in BG’s is almost impossible unless their team is garbage gear.

It would leave me with a sense of powerless and frustration if we lost since there is only so much you can do by yourself in SOLO queue.
