That’s true, but in 90%+ of cases you’ll be fine.
And tbh, if you die at level 15 on flight path, it isn’t too big of a loss, if you die at 40+ then it’s real painful, so higher level you are, even lower the chance that you’ll fall to meet a higher level mob that you can’t escape.
Silithus is secluded.
Plaguelands are secluded.
You generally don’t fly through high level zones outside of like Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge, and to be fair, deeprun tram is faster.
As for Dustwallow, it’s 35-45 and you need Tanaris fp to fly through that, so also managable.
Nope, try timing it. If you want go Dwarven quarter yes, If you want go Bank or AH no, Almost sanme time - Only plus at low level is Tram is free.
Ok, now I am playing along: Isn’t it silly to fly from IF to SW to enter the AH or the bank? AH got connected in patch 1.9 so many years ago!
I still remember it as a huge thing, on line with patch 1.3 and the new feature: AUTO FIRING WANDS! Before that you had to push a key to cast a wand shot

ok - a constructive and potentially easy solution to implement would be to just port people back to the flight master where they started if they disconnected for any reason, including Alt-F4. no victims in that scenario.

Yeah, I agree with that as well and that would be the best scenario. Though Blizzard said they were gonna try to do this but I have not yet seen anything… and if I know Blizzard right it’s gonna be inconsistent…
I can’t remember this happening not once, not ever in either original vanilla or classic era.
At this stage I’m wondering if Blizz devs are actually trolling us by deliberately adding this ‘glitch’ in for a few giggles? It’s possible to imagine a couple of devs peeking in and having a good old fit of giggles every time some hapless player falls foul of the ‘taxi of doom’.
Mages have slowfall, other chars have other methods to circumvent fall damage. maybe introduce a potion of slow fall? Make it not too cheap but early available (usable from level 20).
I died yesterday because of this. The problem is that I was alt+tabbed so I could not do anything about it. When I returned to WoW my character was lying dead on Burning Steppes (I picked up a FP from SW to IF). If you are on Stitches discord I posted what my screen looked like under screenshots section.

Yeah itd be jarring immersion wise to just insta spawn at distinations.

Sub 20 isnt high ur right, however back to back repeating identical content is one way to burn urself out.
Ive died 4 times in hardcore and im feeling pretty burnt out right now.
