[SOLVED] Paladin or Hunter?

I really can’t decide.

BM and MM Hunter’s are super fun in bg’s and arena. But I struggle to survive as hunter. As MM and nearly one shot everyone with aimed shot and barrage right after. But as soon as someone gets to me I always die. If I don’t manage to get away from them. I loved hunter in classic because they could solo anything by kiting it even if it would take forever you could kill anything. But know most classes are tanky and have no problem soloing everyday mobs.

Fantasy wise they aren’t that interesting for me. But I love animals in real life so it’s nice being able to have pets in the game. Also trying to match your pet to your transmog is fun.

I don’t know how Hunters are in m+ so much because it was a while ago I played one it m+ and class trials can’t do that. It seems really chill to be range in raids on a BM because you have no problem doing your rotation while moving.

Paladins are also fun. They are melee which is cool but range awesome until someone gets close to me. Im not that good at getting away. They have plate which is my favorite armor type in the game. I also have alot of plate transmog due to my last main being warrior.

They have ALOT of survivability and utility. The other day I saved our m+ group from wiping by lay on hands the healer. Man i felt awesome the whole day after that. Their class fantasy / lore is also really cool. And I generally like melee more due to them being more survivable because they have plate.

I also like that paladins are super flashy with all their abilities. They shine after pressing on some abilities and man that is just gorgeous. They can heal which I haven’t really tried at end game, just low level but it was fun.

I don’t know about tanking. Prot paladin is super fun and I played it in BFA. In pve too and it was super fun. But tanking dungeons seems to scary for me. It feels like if you mess up once everyone will hate on you and even if you’re sitting behind a scream it still doesn’t feel good.

I don’t have so much time playing so I don’t know about having an alt. I won’t have much time playing it and the time I would have playing it I would rather play my main and do something on him.

It’s like asking what Cheese you should get at the store. How should we know? What one person enjoys doesn’t mean you will. I enjoy survival hunter, doesn’t mean you will though.

Toss a coin, and before it lands assign a class to each side, if you want to toss again then choose the losing one.

My choice, heads it’s a hunter, tails it’s not a paladin.

Chose to go paladin.

Just didn’t like the BM and MM rotation as much as ret and I like the utility that paladin offers. You can also tank and hela and their lore is more interesting.

I began playing this game in TBC and played warrior, which i enjoyed. But eventually i made a hunter and took me a good while to master. But from my experience once you have mastered Hunter it is super fun to play. You have a lot of utility, they are mediocre in pvp right now. But as said once you master it you can have alot of fun in bgs etc.

For me personally there’s no choice there; hunter. Always.

Play hunter, it’s allowed to perform.

I know I’d pick hunter over paladin any time, any day.

But, from my perspective. I’d say you had more positive things to say about a paladin, than your hunter, which is almost described as having a little bit of a cookie cutter feel for you.
