SoM LFG tool is currently broken

LFG tool on the SOM is currently broken. Once you click List Self it does nothing or lists you for 2 sec and then unlists you again. Yesterday it was fine.

This seems to have something to do with a PVP premade fix, it gives an error if you click list self a couple of times
The error says

“you can’t do that while using premade groups”

There is definitely something going on here, and we’re currently investigating this as a potential bug. Thanks for the heads-up! :+1:

No communication ?

Guys, I understand that you have holidays too, but the LFG tool isnt working for several days (since last server restart I think). We are giving you our money to experience the full game, not just a portion of it. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great New Year!

Any kind of info on this topic Blizz ? It down for SEVERAL days, during holidays when people have actually time to play your game. Do you even care ? I mean, you have YEARS of experience and still cant hotfix this in hours ?

Any update on this? Albeit the classic version of the tool isn’t very sophisticated many people like to use it, and this bug completely cuts it off from use. I see people asking about every day in-game.

They posted an update 3 days ago.

They aren’t going to post “hourly updates”, like some of you seem to want, because they probably haven’t been given any updates to post. I mean, what do you want? A diff of the codebase showing the changes they are making?

What we want is a timespan when it will be fixed. Hopefully it will be working again after next server restart. But some info would be nice.

Frankly with a diff I would fix it because it is bugging me that much.

I am certain that issues receive higher priority based on the amount of forum posts they generate, so I consider complaining on the forums the proper response, simply because there is no better option.

The issue clearly occurred after the Dec. 29. server reset, so if any changes were introduced at that time, the simplest solution is to roll them back. I think the most probable reason why it isn’t fixed yet is because it is not considered high priority, and at best gets rolled out on the next reset, instead of doing an update midweek.

The tool seems to be working now.
