I “like” the part where they say, that most people are on 4 clusters in EU/US
What a surprise, if they only offer transfers to those clusters!
Even those who´d like to move to a RP realm on era with their main chars, can´t.
And those who´d like to play in their native language, also can´t (and yes, there are no real language specific clusters, but what i´ve heard is, that everyone who doesn´t speak e.g. german and ends up on a german cluster/realm, leaves again. “Unofficial” there are still language specific realms).
But those germans who play on Evershire/Razorfen and co, and do speak english, are more likley to leave to pyrewood and leave a weakend german community back.
They do AGAIN drain realms (or realm cluster) empty.
The next step is then “ooohh NO ONE wants to play there” and merge the realms…

Sorry if i sound bitter, but this happened already with the TBCC realms.
Opening FCT if they become too low pop, and after draining them, they killed the realms - including the RP realms.
I am worried about my realm…

Looks good, they’ve listened to destination feedback and provided a rough date. Took a while but finally the original purpose of the post here and US has been answered and the outcome we hoped for has been declared. A rare win for the community, Great stuff.

It’s a small win for sure, but people with 10 chars on the destination realm are still out of luck and can’t transfer their chars.

I dont understand this - you can chose your destination realm now, so just pick another? The new here is you actually can chose realm now, before there was only one possible realm.
It´s not 100% clear if they only refer to “any realm” as destination realm for Wrath only, or also era.
If era would have also free target realms they wouldn´t have to remove the pvp faction restriction because you could send your char to another PVP realm in that cluster
E.g. the fresh realms are not available as targets, there will be some restrictions

He can’t. There is no choice on Era, just Wrath.

Not for Era, only for wotlk.
The lock with only one faction per PVP realm was long gone anyway.
You could have one faction on one realm, and another faction on a connected realm.
I don´t see any issues with lifting this lock, to be honest
Hydraxian Waterlords will be probably available now as a target realm for the SOM transfers…
Not sure, why they don´t add all era realms, but maybe they don´t know how to proceed with the era realms themselves.

The Free Transfer is there but while I type realm name regardless of another SoM realm or Classic Era it doesn’t work
The free transfers are not up, and won’t be up before 1st of November earliest.
The big icon “Free Character Transfer” is up but there’s no realms assigned on PvE, and only Dreadnaught for PvP.
TRANSFERS SOON BOYS! HYYYYYYYYYYPE!

Quick question, have Blizzard decided which Wrath realm you can go to yet?
They said they would allow you to chose any WotLK realm - in direct words:
we will allow players to move to any Wrath of the Lich King Classic realm in their region that shares the same ruleset (PvE or PvP) with their source Season of Mastery realm.

Oh I’m glad about that, I can level some characters quicker.
