Whelp, they want SoM players money for boosting new characters, teasing that they could transfer their SoM mains into Wrath alts later. All good except they didn’t said it would be free of charge or if SoM players could choose transfer destination and not end up on something like Mograine.
They DID say free, and that SoM players got to choose where to go.

They did, however, not say you could go to Wrath at the beginning of SoM.

No. for two reasons.
- They thougth SoM an Era sub thing, and never suspected people wopuld even want to go to BCC from there. Then they made over their mind.
- Wrath was not there then - so in the beginning the message I cite said TBCC not Wrath.

It’s hard to know if they do or not. There’s been threads coming for a while here and suggestions made in-game, but I’m pretty sure SoM only had 1 developer and they have likely been reassigned, which probably means nothing will be done.
Also, dropping again today. Only 16 people online with 8 of them being lvl 60, including myself, and 4 of them bots on Alliance. I supposed the only time it’s going to hit over 40 people is raid days for the 3 remaining guilds who are there for the moment.
It’s now just not the above suggestions as the reasoning for transfers, but the game is simply unplayable in it’s current state - there is not even enough lvl 60 real players online to make a strat group in the afternoon/evening outside of raid days.

There’s been a fair sum of suggestions and threads, aswell as in-game comments, AND on certain discords, to allow the Transfers to be made.
Frick, i should’ve taken notes of how many players were on the different servers today. - And it’s unplayable? As true as it’s been told my brother, yesterday i tried to form a group for Scholomance, not a SINGLE reply.
Then again, being dependant on 10 alliance players, and only 3/4 of them are actually level 60, is not really reliable.
Take notes Blizzard, and make changes ASAP.

Well, they had my money, I bought the TBC discount char boost before prepatch.
I’m 70 and just need some work on fishing then I’m ready for WotLK.
But… I’m happy about Blizz behavior? No. It makes me feel I’m just a bag of money.
I’m going to buy the new retail expansion as planned? No.
I’m going to buy Overwatch 2 as planned? No.
Why?
Because they chose to release WotLK before the end of SOM and killed my SOM experience and they didn’t make me able to continue with my beloved char.
I always loved Blizzard, but they are not acting for player’s sake so I dont feel engaged anymore with them and I’m only buying things if I’m gonna use them… no pre purchase or sort of things like that.
So, enjoy my 33 euros and my monthly sub, you lost 140 euros, my enthusiasm and my affection.

I’ll be making a ticket, and see what we can get out of it from there, gonna be in contact with them hopefully soon enough via a Ticket, even though Game Masters don’t have much control in general, maybe it could help push Blizzard just a teeny tiny bit more, to get us sorted, so we can tranfers. - SoM Players are losing precious time.

I enjoyed every single moments of SOM but let’s be honnest, realms as they are currently, are now dead.
We are not enough players to play properly (AH empty, not enough players to raid, guild disands like in my case, BGs empty, etc), so please merge the SOM realms or alow transfers from ERA to SOM or just let us transfer our favorite toons to the regular classic realms in order to let us enjoy WOTLK.
Most likely, the most part of us are your most dedicated players as we are playing the same game over and over since 18 years, so please, do someting for us 
EDIT : If you could also give us like a cool title, mount our anything else for playing SOM from the begining and as long as we could, you would be the best lol

This is a terrible take and off-topic but we all have our own opinions.
I’m just suggesting 3 possible solutions to let peoples who invested so much time in SOM to play it until the end ‘as planed’ or to join again the regular classic realms within the best circumstances. None of both situations are currently met

You can transfer to Classic Era or SoM when they open transfers. This topic is about opening those transfers now because dead is unplayable.

I don’t remember Blizzard announcing that you couldn’t go to Wrath. They added wrath to it.
Yes, but it’s compatible, at least the SoM one is, they are not letting people leave Era, which I think is a good idea.
I was actually talking about the files stored on Blizzard’s systems. I would think that Classic, all the different versions characters are on one server and Retail’s are on another.
Activision Blizzard, please face and realize the self-explanatory fact of SoM, and make the decision for transfers. I believe that the big TBC realm character transfer move has been complete, so it would be great if you could open up the “gates” for SoM characters now.

Exactly, lets all get a move on, and move on with our lives from Season of Mastery Days, and focus on what’s ahead, which is Classic Era or Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
