Hi folks,
I’m facing a super weird issue, I wonder if anyone else has seen this. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with WoW, but I have just tested it with bnet app on and off and now I’m thinking there might be a connection. Also, I’m experiencing this since the last Dragonflight content patch, I didn’t have this before. (Coincidence with the 35°C heat? idk).
So here it is, some of the keys on my ASUS ROG Strix keyboard stop working completely randomly. It’s always the same set of keys (L-Ctrl, Z, U, H, J, N, M, i.e. the L-Ctrl key and the middle of the keyboard). They just don’t register anywhere all of a sudden, not in WoW, not anywhere else in Windows. I suspected a physical issue/overheating, but they come back after a while - there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Also, this is not the hottest part of the keyboard.
What I’ve just tried now: with the keys working, I started up the bnet app and logged in here to post this. (Didn’t start the game or any other app). The keys stopped working after a while. I closed the bnet app and now they are working again.
[Edit]: I’m unable to replicate this consistently.
