Hello,
So today, I launched the game ((Retail)) and I noticed that many map icons are not showing on the map. Things like the Bankers, AH, Mailboxes, trainers and shops are not showing at all on the map. I can disable and enable Low-level quests without issues, but everything else is…gone.
The only icons I have are the Trader’s Post, Vault, Lorewalker, travel points, events, quests (High and low, yellow and blue) and current quest objectives. Everything else is not showing no matter what I do. The funny thing is everything is showing on the minimap, just not on the map.
I did all the following:
Tried disabling and enabling everything in the map settings and binoculars next to the minimap.
Disabled all addons ((Previously ran HandyNotes and Details))
Reloaded UI multiple times
Uninstalled all addons from Cursforge
Removed curseforge all-together
Reset UI- Renamed Cache, Interface and WTF to CacheOld, InterfaceOld and WTFOld like the article does-Ran the script in the same article
Scan and repair via Battlenet, many many many times than I can count
Now, the only thing weird that I might have done was simply uninstall Classic, since I really didn’t play it and I needed the disk space. All was done via Battlenet launcher, but I honestly do not believe this did anything to Retail.
I already searched online and even reviewed some old posts on reddit and the forums. Nothing helped. I also submitted a bug report, but if anyone can provide any tips or help, I would appreciate it.
