So I got my bloodhunter set unlocked, and I’ve noticed some pretty dumb things about it that I feel like they should be fixed.
Why is there a 3D belt baked into the pants, rather than being part of the actual belt? The Belt is just the vials, skull and loincloth, and if you use it separately from the pants it’s just a free-floating loincloth with no attachments, and if you just use the pants, the 3D belt completely covers up 95% of 2D belts, and clips with several of the 3D ones too.
This is a set based off trolls, right? So, when I wear the feet, why does the blood not cover the feet on a troll? Other races get the complete covering of blood but on trolls it cuts off like regular footwear. That seems pretty nonsensical when trolls are the source of the design and yet don’t get an aspect of it?
I’ll steal your thread to draw attention to the fact that Blizzard were too lazy to properly change the color of the belt on this set to match the rest:
I’ve reported this issue countless times using the in game “bug report” tool since the release of this set back in Legion, and this still has not been fixed.
Same reason the worgen, tauren and draenei don’t have bloody feet - They are not made in mind for such things when it comes to the player character.
That you see it on NPC’s is because they are bodies that have been drawn directly upon instead of using ‘layers’, textures that are applied on top of their skin.
I’m well aware of how they work, but we’ve seen numerous boots with new geometry for these races, and it’s absolute lunacy that troll boots don’t match how they look on a blood troll.
My point was that it’s dumb and should be changed, for all those races.
So I found out the pants and belt work fine on human females. The belt is actually part of the belt and doesn’t leave a free-floating loincloth. So you guys did it right on one model but none of the others?
