Some Sort of Religious Quest - Looking for RP

Hi, just a quick note: Sorry if the title isn’t formatted how people usually like them. New to the forum itself so the tags are confusing…

So when it comes to initiating RP, I’m a tad shy.
Doesn’t mean I’m new to it, of course. Been on Play-By-Post forums for over a decade now, still shy however.

What’s the point in this post?

To put it simply, I’m looking for others to basically meet and RP with. Maybe join a guild - who knows, it depends on where story takes old Marcel.

Religion?

Basically, since the above fellow is a pretty new character, he’s not yet had his story completed. His only belief in returning to something close to his old life is finding his place within the Church once again. That one simple solution, ya know.

Obviously, that’s not going to work-- But its early days.

I’ve got more info on the TRP profile, just didn’t want to bore everyone here

Presently he’s mostly roaming his way slowly north to see if he can try and find his family. But- I’m happy to join others if people fancy getting together at some stage or have any directions for the shy.

I completely get what you mean by being shy.

It’s almost like your having to talk to somebody you’ve never met and you don’t know what to say and you really don’t want make yourself look like an idiot.

I think, if we can get a bit more info about him, then we can sort of - pinpoint him in the good direction.

You know, does he agree with the war between the factions? What does he think with regards to Magni and the events in Silithus? These sorts of things.

Well, that’s a good angle, but perhaps we need to expand on that which can help both old Marcel and some potential guild interests.

This can relate to my above point with regards to how he thinks and feels about the current happenings on Azeroth.

(Still mostly new to WoW itself and haven’t finished all the questlines so there’s likely some aspects I’m missing so forgive me on that)

  • He definitely wasn’t pro war until the Forsaken caused the storm that they did. He’s certainly not the type to be standing on the front lines or the first to offer Frodo his sword, but he’d be maybe fourth or fifth in line.

  • He’s not some valiant hero, nor was he before his rather untimely demise.

  • In terms of the present state of Azeroth, and his own mind set, he’s pretty pro-magni. Sealing the wound is vital at this stage, and if it means that people are displaced then its worth it for the grand scheme of things. Needs of the many are far greater than the few, and so on.

  • Speaking back to the Forsaken, he’s uncomfortably terrified of what remains of Scorge, considering the rather violence reputation they have and they acts they were required to commit under Arthas.

  • Right now, he’s set on finding some part of his humanity, and for some reason the only solution is going back to The Light again. He knows its unlikely he’ll be the man he used to be but he’s dead set on trying to grab some part of him and make penance for the actions he committed thus far.
