I’m perfectly fine with them adding braids but as an option.
I really love our hair styles right now and braids really don’t fit my character at all.

Yeah I put it on my OP to get a Toggle called ‘‘Hair Strands’’ or something, where most hairstyles will be fixed with regular hair strands and maybe one or two will have braids display, but it should all be on a Toggle =)

The hair floats but there is above all a hole where you can enter and see the interior as in a cave …
Something is clearly missing (hair / braids).

So one of the things they said they’d do as you know was that they’d remove the tentacles. Great, that’s done, but some issues arised out of their removal, I merely wish for those issues to be fixed.
Also, would be nice if you posted on your main.

These aren’t issues. I logged on the PTR myself and they look fine to me and many other void elf players. They just appear shorter without the tentacles. And to be honest, they look even cooler than the Blood elf hairstyles.
But to each their own. Everyone has different opinions.
I wouldn’t even dare. Everyone knows the forums can be extremely toxic if i dare to have a different opinion. I just don’t like drama.
They might look good to you, that doesn’t mean that’s the case for me and others. If they just release them as they are now then that ship has sailed it could take several months before they are fixed.
If you check the OP’s links you will see where the issues are on the pics. And I clearly state that I wish for the ponytails to remain short, I just want the gaps filled:
