Some WoD Crafted Armor Sets and Weapons Unobtainable in Shadowland

This HAVE to be a bug, or it’s a horrible choice… (all locked behind daily cds)

On the post I made at US forums we got a blue response:
(Yes its my alt on US that is the OP which is why the threads are so similar)

Hopefully this will be solved “Sooner than later”, and not end up like all the missing Vanilla Tmogs/Recepies etc, or the lack of access to Ordos still for those who came after us to the game.

To those of you who replied to this thread with nothing but malicious intent of telling us to have “gotten it earlier” rather than keep to the point of THINGS BEING REMOVED FOR NO GOOD REASON (in this case, Technical):
Ok, I don’t like you either. And no, You weren’t “right”. Lets end it at that.

So Blizzard are removing things that have no real effect ingame.

They are not removing the sets, just the upgrading items.

They will upgrade it what, 1 or 2 iLevels in SL?

It seems the problem is with the new crafting system where you can upgrade any item to lvl50(not sure about the ilvl), so draenor upgrades will make it bis for twinks. I still think it’s a dumb decision to remove transmog options, they could have found a different solution if they are so concerned about it.

They are removing the sets - the upgrades are seperate tints.

They could just make them not upgrade so high or whatever then.
Change it to 1lvl upgrade, or whatever.

Blizz could make an easy fix to this and just make it so you learn the tier 2 and 3 appearances when you craft tier 1.

If you do not care - why post about it?
Clearly, a lot of people care.

I hate when they remove things from games like these…

Pretty careless and stupid move. No warning either. The least they could do is remove the daily CD for this so that people can make the armours and weapons before it is too late.

Or ideally they could just leave the sets alone. Enough with removing stuff.

Why? You didnt cared about those sets at all clearly when you could get them and when they are supostu be removed you suddenly rember that you wanted to have them? Please. This is good thing becouse it punishes people what do things only becouse of scarecity of not owning something which rewards people who do care and put effort getting those items.

Already have them all. Had them since WoD. I just think it’s stupid to remove them.

It’s Gorbal by the way, I just seem to have hit the max number of posts a character can make on their first day on the forums.

I’ve been meaning to get these for years, but the crafting them has always competed with other things I want to do in WoW as well, and, since it wasn’t urgent, my attention has repeatedly been drawn elsewhere. Now, if they do intend to remove the possibility to get those transmogs by pre-patch, I will neither have the time nor the money to get them. I really hope, and I’m going to assume, it will be fixed before release, this, and the thing mentioned in the comments on WoWHead about mementos no longer dropping from the horrific visions as well… It just seems like such an incredibly strange thing to do without giving anyone fair warning, and doesn’t things always change on the PTR as they work on it?

It seems it’s time to drop expansions purchase and finish everything, before that. As it’s clearly, they will not keep things as they are.

I think I found myself, content for the next 10 years.

Cheers.

It’s the second article I’ve seen about them. It seems odd to remove them.

It seems that the investment i’ve made to craft all of the WoD transmogs, from all the professions, payed off, but not in a way i wanted, removing stuff from the game is not good, just as i see temporary rewards as a tactic of artificial scarcity.

I’ve spent probably over 30k, mostly in Savage Blood, to craft all of them, and it took several days with multiple characters on multiple professions, logging daily to craft Hexweave Cloth, Truesteel bars, etc.

In my realm in the US each Savage Blood costed in average 50g, mostly because the supply was always lacking. Now that a lot of transmogs are seemingly getting removed, all of which use Savage Blood as a reagent to upgrade them , the demand for Savage Blood and other reagents will increase ridiculously and the prices are going to skyrocket, i expect 200g for a single Savage Blood.

I hope this is a bug or a design oversight, just like how some of the Night Elf Death Knight hair colors disappeared for a week.

What on earth are you on about now ? your posts know no bounds who said in WoD “oh yeah these are supposed to be removed in 3 expacs time remember” .

Its is good it creates value for those items. If everything is avaiable to all players anytime such items doesnt have any value at.
