Dude I haven’t used that character in like a half a year. Why does it matter which character do I use on the forums? Am I famous?
Should I switch back to that character, would it be sufficient?

I honestly don’t think the ‘whales’ thing works with WoW on the whole, there are so few things in their shop. It makes up such a tiny percentage of Blizzard/WoW’s income. None of these are large transactions.

Agreed. It would be different if they sold lootboxes or packs on the store. With chances for getting cool items. Then it’d be whale time.

This case is just lots of people buying something from the store and Blizz making millions because of it.

I write these posts because I care about the game. I aren’t a troll and just as you dislike being called a white knight for defending things you enjoy, I don’t appreciate you telling me that any opinion I have that is negative is a trolling attempt. It works both ways and if you can meet in the middle then we can open discussions for everyone to express ideas to improve world of warcraft OR you can spam me with gifs until you 5 are the only ones left talking to each other but can’t get a group going because the only content you can manage is designed for 8 year olds.

I said they are the only ones that would drop it on store mounts that flood the major cities within hours because it’s exposable gold. Normal players would use gold for gear or enchants or other things that an MMO should be promoting.

Normal players are swimming in gold. I am not farming it, have a full time job, and all kinds of other social things and i am sitting on 3.5M gold. Same for my M+ group and 2 of them did buy a store mount.

Honestly I like that people can grind gold in game and then buy store stuff, treating it like any other vendor, but there is no way I ever want to have to grind gold again after the long boi farm.

Use more muted language. Don’t namecall particular types of players, and certainly don’t jump on the defensive straight away by ‘naming and shaming’ people. That just doesn’t fly. That comes across as trolling because it’s upsetting.

Naming and shaming does fall within that scope, sorry It isn’t the opinion that was the problem - sure, you might have had a hard day on top of that and went a bit too loose, I agree with some of the points, but naming and shaming (at least in a negative context, no idea about positive) is not allowed as far as I know.

There was a point in my previous post where I apologised if I had caused any offense but everyone overlooked that and kept quoting my previous posts and flooded it with smarmy comments and “in” jokes only the forum dwellers would be able to comprehend.
