The most stupid system… The same content that scales an infinite amount of times is just boring af.
Look at all these reaction. I made this post for likeminded people.
But instead only those who do not like QoL come here.
Im really would like some changes to make this game a bit more easy to step in and out. Some systems are just a waste of time without good reason.
It will really hurt TBC if it will stay this slow paced game.
Retail that way ------>
This slow pace is why people are playing classsic/tbc you cant kill it by keeping it.
Ok, i already know the whole list was too much. But i had to make it long so that we can agree on the best improvements, only a few. Maybe dual talents and dungeon finder. These 2 would be enough to make TBC great again
See my above post
This is what happened back in the day and it made me sad and it’ll happen again Everyone can afford flying mount, so it’s not really about having an edge over someone else, but it does make world seem much quieter and less exciting on a PvP servers, when people can just mount up and fly far above and just idle there pretty much untouched.
And no, this isn’t a whine about not being able to gank people… I rolled PvP server because I wanted some WPvP while questing and doing stuff, but flyers will remove much of that, which is shame. That’s just my personal view on it tho, I do understand how much easier it makes PvE stuff in the game. And well… easier for actual gankers too now that you think about it. They can just follow someone from air and attack when they feel like it (as in: when the other player is low on HP and fighting mobs or something) so in a way, flyers support ganking pretty much.
Might be one of the reasons why I disliked them the first time…
For PvE only they’re totally cool tho, QoL for that. But for PvP they destroy certain funfactors, in my opinion only of course. Gankers might like them I guess
I do not see a single reason for the need of a dungeon finder.
I am currently leveling 8 chars in classic only via dungeons since level 17 on a low population server, all it takes is time and you need to start the groups yourself.
Dont see a reason for dual spec either, just make a second char.
The only thing on your list I could agree on is the barber shop as it really has no game inpact.
You sound to me like you have alot of free time to make so many chars
Only 1 char to 60 took me 3 months. Many people do not have crazy amounts of free time.
For those people i need to try to get some base QoL changes. We can only play 2 hours a day or not even every day but we like classic/tbc
I want another char but i wil not level it because it will take me another 3 months maybe even more. Trust me, alot of people could use dungeon finder to make some lost time up. Dual talent would be great to not waste my precious gold between pve/pvp
Retail is thatta way ---->
Yeah Lockdown and winter and beeing single and beeing stuck at homeoffice atm makes a lot of free time.
Yes it takes time to level, it always did.
Best thing is people will recognise you if you do alot of dungeons and will invite you again, thats the main reason for me to quit retail its just anonymous, people dont even greet anymore just gogogo…
My healer has a private tank, my tank has a private healer friend and all my dds are also welcome everywhere.
I don’t have a 60 yet and I am playing since a couple of month, maybe not even when tbc will launch. But i dont care, I enjoy the game the way it is.
Classic and tbc required patience and time if you don’t have it its maybe not the right game for you.
Btw if you have 2h/day thats enough for every dungeon, just plan accordingly and start the group yourself.
You can also make pvp with pve spec, just dont expect to have a chance or vice versa.
1 No. While WoW classic is currently proving why LFG became a thing eventually, it is not at all required for the vast majority of the game’s length. It takes away from the experience of having a server community. They already delayed the issues WoW classic has right now by having bigger server player capacity.
2 Fair enough to me. It is practically impossible to find groups for dungeons now, so leveling a new character is a nightmare. I wouldn’t partake in paying for a boost, but I understand some would rather skip the major inconvenience of leveling from 1 to 60 (that doesn’t take skill, just time, unlike what some people on these forums seem to think) and just go straight into TBC.
3 , 4. , 5 and 6. No. Your character is your identity on the server. Being able to change it so easily ruins that. Many find it enjoyable seeing the same people on the server improve their gear etc. over time. Reputation matters and you can make a name for yourself which wouldn’t be half as easy if you could just change all of that on a whim.
7 Classic zones aren’t fit for it. Also, there’d be no point anyway, since it is old content.
8 Hell yes. Dual spec should definitely be a thing.
9 Honestly I thought they already had those. That speaks volumes, since I have had no issues with Russians around, but if they want their own servers… well fair enough.
You and many others in this thread are already partaking in this feature.
HC dungeons are too hard for dungeon finder usage. Look what happened when they made similar difficulties of dungeons in Cata where dungeon finder was already thing. People went crazy. It worked with easy dungeons in wrath.
No, it worked with all dungeons in wotlk. Only thing i give you as at the start alot of pugs wiped. But after gearing and practising hc in wotlk was easy and all pugs made it

Additions
- Increase Stable Pet Slots
- Dungeon Journal unless we get a better AtlasLoot 2.4.3
- Better UI for Profession with Favorite/Have Materials checkbox
- Instant Mail between own chars?
This is what I’m saying. Wotlk dungeons were easy but TBC were hard. That is why it is bad idea.
- yes
- NO
- sure if ppl like that
- we already have that
- got nothing against it because a namechange is still visible provided that you had that char in ur friendslist (don’t forget to put a not on them)
- got no problem with that
- imo, no need but got nothing against it
- apart from the positive sides, there’s a huge negative side to it, guildmasters/raidleaders demanding you to play 2 specs and gear for them so it’s up to ppl, i wouldn’t mind but i don’t like the downside of it.

My own addition:
- a mount / companion pet journal
A single in-faction race swap would make me extremely happy. Apart from that:

- Read top comment. With limitations like the character boost it would be beneficial for the community in my mind. Restricted amount and no swap to the new races could be an idea to not hurt the leveling scene.
- No
- Indifferent but leaning towards that it would be a nice addition.

Just double spec and dual faction seals(which is already confirmed) is enough imo
I’m not sure about dual spec. I understand why people wants it. But in my opinion this removes that identity with certain spec. Like I’m arms warrior or I’m protection paladin, and so on.
