Someone hacked my account and stole money

Yesterday someone managed to get into my account and stole all my gold and they also gifted themselves £19.99 worth of game time 16 times so they stole real money off me aswell, i would like to get this all back and not sure how to go about it, my bank and paypal have told me they can do nothing unless the transactions have been completed and blizzard dont really seem to help that much, i cant even request a refund because the recipient of the gift has to request a refund which is pretty dumb and not protecting of the victim. Not sure how to go about this.
The only resaon i was able to know and get my account back was because i had multiple emails come thru at once from paypal telling me of the purcheses so i instantly went and changed my password, i think my email may have been hacked into aswell so had to change my password for that too, for the past few days i have had to login every time i wanted to play wow which i thought was weird but thought nothing of it, also like 2 weeks ago blizz emailed me telling me my account may be compromised and asked me to change my password which i did, guess they were right lol, please help

As for the potential fraud, you may have to wait on a Blizzardian to answer while you secure your PC and other belongings.

Its only wow they have taken gold and money from, all my other stuff seems to be fine although i have changed passwords and stuff. Everything else is fine now, not sure i want to wait for blizz to reply cause that could take ages, i have contacted paypal about it and they told me to wait for the transaction to appear as completed to get refund from them. I know blizz will just have bots that reply to me

So they have bots, but according to you they also take ages to reply? Why not instant bot reply? Are you really here for help or?

i sent in a ticket when it happened and it still hadnt been replied too this morning so i deleted sorry if i sound rude or anything im just a bit peeved at the situation atm, yes i do want help sorry, ive just heard stories of people waiting ages to get a reply only for it to be bots. I thought it might have been better to make a forum post as I know youre real people

Ok that’s pretty bad, I know you’re impatient but you have to create a ticket under here:

Don’t cancel the ticket again as it will put you behind the queue if you create it again.

Wait time is about 3-6 days but if Monday rolls in a Forum Blizzardian may take a quick look as well. Since you contacted your payment method they know what’s happening and can ask or contact Blizzard as well when it rolls through.

Remember to scan your PC or changing your password won’t do any good as it may get compromised again. That’s pretty much step 1.

okay thank you very much for your help, ill do that now and make another ticket, i also dowloaded that avast anti virus thing too so that should help, honestly im so dumb with computers and stuff haha

Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, this isn’t something that can be investigated through the forums.

As many have suggested, please do keep the ticket open so that this can be investigated, and do not cancel it so that it doesn’t get behind in the queue. Hopefully, you will back soon!
