Looked it up but no real info besides a specific rare spawning.
Does anything else happen in Hollowfall when the crystal goes purple?
The mobs in the area become slightly more dangerous, as far as i’ve seen. They all recieve an omnious buff, and i notice myself dying way more in during the time the crystal goes to purple
Mostly this! There is also an increased numbers of voidy Hostile NPCs in the area.

Every 3 hours when the crystal goes dark, yes. I understood often there are raid groups ready. I haven’t done it myself so i do not know but a friend got the mount(?) this way.
When it goes dark players get a debuff that causes them to either: a) nuke Beledar’s Spawm when the RL has told them 10 times to only tag it; or b) rage that everyone else is nuking it before they can get there.

Join a raid in group finder, they start to form 15mins or so in advance. Then camp all the spots. When crystal goes dark he appears at one of the points, we all schlep across to get to it before some idiot has gone ham blowing all cooldowns as if it’s going to help it drop more if you hit it harder.
