No worries pal, titanforging is what kept your gear now more or less relevant if u did not do mythic raiding or if you cant find a guild who raids mythic and does high end m+ (those guilds are very picky)

It is going to be voidforging, and item cna voidforge down up to heroic dungeon quality gear, also with a chance giving sockets, that you can add gems into to decrease your stats for flat amount.
This way you will be able to make game as challenging as you like.

Sadly dont have time for hardcore raiding with many college stuff around, sometimes i’m happy to get a better gear, but still a clownfiesta.
simple - it will be even more rng - like for example possiblility of 1-10 sockets on each item :P:P:P

Im just happy theyre fixing titanforging. Its just not fine with me to join a 430 grp that hasnt done freehold. Yes it happened and it just feels like its not rewarding for me to gear up at all

Guess its too much to ask for the valor system back…just upgrade the item, twice. Thats it, boom done?

It could also be effects on items like in Crucible ? Lose a secondary stat or reduced primary for some kind of effect…
Imo it’ll involve a trade off rather than a raw stat increase.
Yeah, it’ll just add a crappy effect of some description, in some iteration that we’ve seen a million times.
Mark my words, as bad as TF already is, if they add any kind of chaos to this already chaotic system, it will not go well…

Why the optimism? What I got from the announcement is that, more likely than not, they may be doing something to titanforging.
Finally. Just hope they dont botch the fix!
