those stuff happen in every launch but they get fixed real quick and didn’t have major server problems that affect everyone like wow had with wotlk launch or sl launch. at dragonflight launch people farmed reps with exploiting stuff for few days
Regarding that question…
I would love to have a Warcraft “Vermintide 2”-like RPG with multiple classes that battle through AI-Director controlled Levels settled in the Fractured Timeways (or basically a completely ed up timeline) with an PEGI/USK rating of 18 so we can have blood, gore and harsh language in it, just like Warhammer has.
And yes, you can be damn sure I would play the Paladin in the group.
i’ve never played any warhammer game but that sounds gooood
I can really recommend Warhammer Vermintide 2. It is such a good game by now. Also, the difficulty levels and mastery of combat are a good motivation for longtime play. And most importantly, it is 4-people coop fun with optional single player through bots.
Here a gameplay trailer if you want to check it out.
looks really good with the brutal combat style i’ll give it a try this summer ! and yeah a warcraft game like this would be super cool . a good way to maturing the story and content.
The best part about it is the music design in certain situations.
For example, this track plays in endless loop while you are the last standing/living member of the group:
But I won’t link further any stuff. Don’t want to de-rail the topic too much.
Edit: The music is done by Jasper Kyd, who also made many famous tracks, such as Ezio’s Family from Assassins Creed 2(?).
If Blizzard is gonna add their dumb wokism then I’d rather let wow bleed out till it’s dry and let it rest in peace
No, it had a smooth early access with a rough prelaunch lol, read the forums now, people are raging over things.
Heres the thing.
Blizzards big game has always been diablo. WoW came later.
2nd thing:
Diablo is a game entirely soloable, with a end game grind that be chosen rather then forced, outside things dont affect ur gameplay. Ur not waiting on people to join, ur not being declined snd ur forced to do nothing.
WoW is a heavily meta driven mmorpg with forced grinds and enforced group content for progression.
Given blizzards fanbase are primsrily now 30+. One most defintly sounds more approachable at that stage of a games life.
I aint saying WoWs bad, but what im saying is the market for solo content is wider then that of group/raid based content, and to stack new things will always stack hype. Espically when its diablo.
Idk, I’ve been trying to play d4 of a few days now and it’s not just getting me. I’m at lvl 29 and already bored out of my mind. The atmosphere is great, the graphics nice and yet…the gameplay is sluggish and story kind of just meh. And it’s not my first diablo rodeo, played through d2 and lod back when they were quite recent and also went through d3 and reaper of souls and even completed a few seasons there.
So yeah, prolly going to drop it before I even get to the endgame.
Positively surprised to see Vermintide being brought up in this thread. I wouldn’t mind a third or first person hack’n slash, co-op dungeon crawler set in the Warcraft fantasy.
it is crazy how smooth d4 launch was. no lags, no disconnects. It crashed twice so far and I’ve had it since early release.
In the meantime you meet 2 other players in open world in wow and servers start to lag kekw. xd xd
that’s also very true.
The engine works. Its a lack of them actively working on bugfixes and the such. They fix something, it breaks again with the next patch or somewhere later and now you can pray to god if they even start working on fixing it again.
Speak for yourself, I’ve been getting ping spikes up towards 2k with accompanying rubberbanding even though winMTR shows no pingspikes when I’m using it against blizzard’s servers.
Still happens and they didn’t even bother to respond to it.
old games tend to have more issues that’s what i’m saying , it leads them to spend more time than necessary hence affects all the dev. process
this is the majority of feedback i’ve seen the best part is they had less queues than any wow expansion i mean at wotlk classic launch queues were 5-6 hours long lol
Think I’ve had my fair share of demon killing since D1, just doesn’t do it for me anymore, skipping 4, and focusing on this new account in WoW.
I would argue that this “meta driven grind” is also optional, because it really depends what you play the game for. If it is just for fun with friends or like me for roleplay and story, you don’t need to run the strongest meta to have fun with the game or make progress.
If you aim for the Mythic raid or high Mythic keys, that’s perhaps a different story.
If this held any weight , the marketing and PR world would be screwed and wouldn’t be the way it is
Connections aren’t necessary. At all
Warcraft total war
i am talking about the ad having a connection with the product, pedro’s ad just showed cgi version of dragon mounts and had ‘‘get your own dragon’’ like it’s a pokemon ad lol.
The ad featured a dragon from World of Warcraft
Is that or is that not a connection to the product ?
Before you reply, just remember this was your statement
Pokemon was hugely successful, so was Pokemon go for a while
i said pokemon ad because they were talking about dragons like they’re their pets/pokemons not because pokemon ads are bad lol. they didn’t ride the dragons and we can’t pet our mounts in the game so it was not connected to the game while megan fox read eulogies after players’ deaths . one is a great marking move the other one is like a car ad that just says ‘‘get a car’’
