Somethings wrong with ENEMY POPULATION?

The same. I can hardly see hordes in areas I quest/grind and most of times there are almost always groups of alliance and me.

One time I couldn’t reach an elite WQ because alliance were ganking up on hordes. I turned off wm thinking I would probably not be able to find a group for the quest but surprisingly there were a couple. I think plenty of hordes play with wm off.

i am playing horde, the wm on its 90% ally, the maw its alwais with a raid of ally waiting at the entrace and outside the primus in maldraxus just the same.

sad stuff thr 30% buff and the kill quest still in favor of ally, shuld be equal to the horde or less

80/90% of the horde players have wm off now

the only way to quest or even talk with fly masters its fasing in some empty layer.

My personal experience (on Kazzak, heavy horde dominated server) is the same. Nobody else in my guild except 1 person play with WM active just because it is not worth the struggles of having to wait with WQs due to huge alliance zergs all over the place.

Personally, I feel like the warmode buff right now is absolutely absurd. They should make it flexible, like the old Ashran buff, and on top of that it should be shard / layer unique.

If you play on a layer that is heavily dominated by the opposing faction (regardless of the over-all pop) - why on earth is it fair that the oppressor should keep the bonus while those struggling with the very same issue that alliance had in BFA gets 1/3 of the bonus?

I thought the warmode bonus was absolutely amazing when introduced in BFA because I sincerely hated how alliance were forced to WM off due to the zergs of Horde…

… But I find it absolutely hilarious that alliance in huge raid groups still get the benefit of a 30% bonus while solo Hordes struggle hard for a 10% bonus (and other way around, obviously - I do not favor either side).

Its a permabuff for ally players, mb something will change if horde still get out from WM for a long time, nobody knows.

There’s something wrong with the layering. Most of times, I only see horde, like 100% of every player encounter.

Then again, sometimes i join some layers that’s like 90% alliance, or at least feels like it. Since horde are more, it makes sense having some layers full of horde, and some layers that are 50-50 or even alliance favored.

I also happen to find out that most of my friends (including PVPers) have their WM turned off and a big reason for that is the Maw. It has happened quite a few times that alliance heavy layers camped outside venari.

Actually when I am in revendreth it is really hard to find Horde to kill. No idea why this is happening

now ally has 15% wm bonus; where those witnesses of horde numbers who cried “horde too many” when u had your 30% and swarmed all around?

Hello there!

I represent The Scarlet Scourge guild here that are famous from the World PvP content. We have been doing weekly raids in SL with more than 40 Abominations, but usually just about 30 of us in the raid. I have tried to announce our world PvP events on different streamer Discords, but it looks like no-one pays attention like before Shadowlands. Before Shadowlands we had 100vs200 player raids and like 4-5 different PvP communities trying to hunt us during world PvP day.

There must be a problem with the phasing stuff. For example world quests phase players to different realms in SL zones. We are playing on 90% Alliance realm as Horde, but we rarely see anyone in the Maw as well for example. Could be related to maybe phasing happening differently in raids? It’s like us attacking with 40 Aboms against 1-5 Alliances. Kinda stupid. And when we enter other spots in other zones that are usually filled with Alliances, we can’t barely see anyone. The 1-5 Alliances once again. We have seen only once a counter-attack in Maldraxxus that were like 10-15 Alliances against 30 Aboms.

Stormwind has been pretty dead too no Alliances trying to counter-attack us while raiding the King. Maybe like 5 Alliances there. In front of AH we kill everyone easily without counter-attacks.

Then again Shadowlands is still in its beginning. I personally believe these are the reasons for World PvP not
happening yet:

  • Phasing at world quests
  • Players have other stuff to do like Torghast, dungeons and raids
  • Getting honor in “real” PvP
  • Chilling in lame Oribos, or Covenant places (Especially this has killed World PvP)

I’m not sure how to fix this. It should be somehow changing the phasing in zones, or adding some World PvP achievements like.

Feels weird anyway and it really feels like no-one has War Mode on, when we go out there in raid. Just single targets.

EDIT: While we started leveling in Shadowlands first day, we had 40 Aboms with us on WM On and of course then Alliance side had everyone WM On so it was like 500 Alliances against us. We had to turn WM off in order to make leveling faster.
