After you click the scroll and once the sand on screen animation starts playing, you disconnect (consistently) and on rare occasion, the game crashes.
While you’re at it, please do something about the intro dialog because it still takes 5 minutes for him to become hostile.

Got this “bug” yesterday. First time trying out this new skip option, clicked on the scroll, swirling sands thing appeared, game froze for a few seconds and then “You have been disconnected”! Couldn’t reconnect either, had to fully exit the game and re-launch, but once my character was back in-game I had indeed skipped ahead to the final boss stage.
That’s part of the fight, won’t ever change probably.
I think most people can accept a few moments dialogue rather than completing the entire instance to get to Garrosh lmao
A great compromise would be for the roleplay to trigger the moment you click the scroll, as it otherwise would from approaching the location. You’re not exactly missing out on anything important and you can still hear the dialog regardless of the distance from the NPCs. I understand how the roleplay is key to triggering different parts of the fight but still much more can be done to improve the farming experience.
Tried this tonight, clicked on scroll, got dc-ed and been trying for 1 hour to reconnect but getting error WOW5190018. Been attempting to repair / scan and all that , nothing seems to work, anyone encountered this behaviour? would appreciate the help , will try logging tomorrow i guess and if not prolly ticket time

This bug has been on the developers’ radar. We know that this one’s quite annoying, as it’s happening to everybody, however the fix shouldn’t take too much longer.
In the meantime, may Garrosh’s loot be terrific and plenty.

You can skip the RP by opening the door behind you and pulling an add onto Garrosh, when one touches him he says “now you know your place in my world” and despawns followed by reappearing afterwards. Saves a lot of time!
Translation: Blizzard are aware of this issue and are investigating. A fix will be deployed in the coming months. Please check patch notes to find out when the fix is finally deployed.
EDIT: Almost three weeks later and still not fixed! Is this really on the developer’s radar? If so, are they actually looking at fixing it or is it just “under investigation” for the next 6-24 months?

I notice that you actually say “This bug has been on the developers’ radar.” which kind of implies that it was on the developers’ radar for a while but isn’t any longer?
