Some punishment is better than no punishment. What comes into question is how effective the punishment is though, since rewards are shared across wow accounts on the same bnet account. To make the punishments properly effective, they need to disable the bnet account-wide rewards-sharing, and keep rewards limited to the WoW account alone, because then it’d hurt a hell of a lot more.
Meanwhile NA top players are at 2.5 rn, funny thing is they don’t even have more players than eu rn it’s just blizzard inflating NA more the past 2 seasons
They should have banned permanently. And if new account detected from same person/hardware new accounts also should be banned.
Game is for people to enjoy, not some weird guys to make money.
They do that in cod warzone the same company btw.
It’s just NA queing way more. Last season they forgot to reset MMR on NA, this season however they did so NA being higher just means they queue more.
True 16k more games played yesterday than eu in 3v3.
Why eu players are such tryhards like none of them play for fun anymore.
Maybe they are concerned for game popularity if they perma ban those people, since most of them are streaming.
But people do RMT mostly does not provide too much entertainment on streams. They are watched because they are good on the game, but others will take their place if they are perma banned.
For example the guys like mitchjones, asmongold etc. they provide an entertainment for the game so they will always increase the popularity of the game.
They kinda have a white list sort of thing for cod warzone aswell so streamers rarely get the ban hammer even the cheaters. but if you get banned in warzone then you might aswell throw away your pc into the trash because of hardware detection.
So my suggestion is to perma the boosted players at the least since most of them don’t even stream.
Some people buy accounts or characters outright and most of the time it goes undetected even though it’s easy to notice them.
Its hard to play for fun when any rating on s3 and s4 is ultra tryhard sweaty ppl
Many ppl climbed 1.6 or rival with sweaty palms and said meh these s3-s4
Like why is ppl with 5x 2700 characters of same class on their account w/e playing with their mates on 1500-1800mmr even mid season
I can win some of those but I dont have fun playing some 1600mmr games vs these people like its too much work for too little which is logical why ppl cba
People dont want to sweat vs some arena masters on low ratings still mid of the seasons like season 3 sl example when they are queing up for few games to reach their next gear brachets and they are facing people with 2700 there who already have achieved theirs but they are now playing vs you on their 15th alt of same class on 1500cr for some weirdo reason or just straight up boosting someone in max gear
Also boosting has always ran more rampant in eu than in na, blizz moderates eu far less than na on this
For me its plain atleast why ppl are finding it hard to “play for fun” this
game in eu
Well considering half of the gladiators/rank 1 players are banned now i think it’s safe to assume more fair play.
Ye it is excellent news and path for the eu ladder if blizz is really starting to be as serious with eu as they are with na on this
Big fan of these type bans anyways
Might as well close awc entirely then lmao
And knowing how easily blizz killed off the entire hots pro scene, it’s not even that unlikely
Bans for 1 month are these made my automatic system suspecting cheating or due to reports. These for 6 month are applied by someone who has proofs and set manually by someone from Blizzard. That’s at least what Twitter says
Ban them all, no matter rmt or gold they ruining others game experience only way available for boosters shlud be coaching but not in rated instance, do war games duels what ever but any form of boosting in rated shlud and need to be baned.
But sadly gold ones are according to rules so probably these will get unbanned.
Not rly if someone buy token and then pay for boost its clear rmt
Yes but then Blizzard gets a cut so it’s fine you know.
Not ryl again, 1 person buy token but due to boosters 10 ppl unsub then math is simple blizz losing money and on top subs are monthly buying boost is on of income
Not in Blizzard’s eyes.
I could not care less what THEY are saying on Twitter.
